First of all, ignore the "sell it and get a real car" advice, I figure you need some constructive advice. Regardless of the size engine, a good tune up will helpand a less restrictive K&N air filter will help a bit. Other than that, you're pretty well stuck with an engine swap if you have a small engine. The only other alternative is adding a turbo or supercharger, both of which can be expensive and very time consuming to add especially since I doubt there are ready made kits for a caravan. The other option is nitros oxide, but it's usually only for accelleration and can destroy expensive engine parts is used incorrectly.

Caravan isnt noted as a performance vehicle but to gain horsepower it needs to be in tune anyway. So start there.Spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter are good places to start.
A note on some air filters such as K&N. There are service bulletins on such filters because they can leave an oil residue on mass air flow sensors causing dust to stick to the sensor insulating it and it may actually reduce performance and fuel economy. Best stick to an original style quality filter and save yourself a few bucks.
