Its very unfortunate that this country still considers marijuana a serious drug, especially when a considerable amount of people will turn up to work, operating heavy machinery, do surgery, electronics, mechanical repairs, arrest people, pilot large air craft, fly into space while still intoxicated on alcohol. A number one killer in the US on a daily basis, non stop, but that is okay.
I take it you didn't opt for the drug rehab as often used to let one redeem their character, in such a victim less crime, therefore alleviating a recorded conviction.
There is one thing you can do, it includes a lot of paper work. Write to the judge that presided on your case, include as many referees respondent to your good character and plead for a pardon, and that your name be removed from any police record.
People will drive while on alcohol and cocaine and basically get a slap on the hand, particularly if you are female financially scary and of celebrity status, killing innocent people in head on collisions, destroying property and using the street like it's a race track.
I feel for you, there are countries who speak the english language such as Australia, England and other parts of Europe where marijuana is not seen as an eeeevil demon drug, and if your have the right credentials will happily employ you for your skills. Employment Agents on the internet are happy to work with you.
Another thing, when answering the question related to drugs, write not applicable, because with grass, its none of their damn business, it has nothing to do with your particular skill, beside if they wanted to be snakes, they along with all employed should take weekly random drug tests, even for alcohol, sedatives and pain killers, be relieved of their position until they know how to go to work clean.
If for the sake you were doing Cocaine ,Alcohol, Heroin, I would never consider you for employment until you got over that hill. As for Methamphetamine I would never have you in my presence, and that one is for life.
For marijuana, well quite frankly, I would prefer you as an employee, rather than some drunk gutter drugged asshole, not even if their credentials were written in gold.
I am an Art Director, no, I don't smoke, I'll let you in on something not a lot of people know, George Washington liked to finish his day off with a little weed to wind down and think how he wanted to mold the new American nation as one of the major forces for individual freedoms given to all men as equals....I think the translation has been lost somewhere.
All the best for your future, please don't give in to these cows, you have a right to work at what ever you want to.
I feel very strongly about ridiculous state of mind, and law and politic motivation to misinform the general public, particularly the voters that are stupid.

The medical profession isn't too fond of people with drug convictions. See if someone, like your lawyer, can write you a letter of recommendation.

it depends on what state you live in...but honestly..If your young...It could blow over after a couple of years...I would suggest looking for an Dr's office job in the mean time...that way maybe you could build a relationship with a doctor or office manager that won't care....Good luck
