I decided to dye some clothes black and did it inside, big mistake. Now there are dye stains all over the hardwood floor. I tried scrubbing them with a scrub pad but it didn't work. What should I do?

Dye tends to leave permanent stains. If you have a polyurethane finish, first try rubbing with rubbing alcohol and white paper towel or rag. Rub with grain of wood. If stain appears to lighten repeat. At best, you can expect to lighten the stain. Polyurethane is resistant to acetone, you can also try acetone. Always test remedies in inconspicuous place first for ill effects before proceeding.
