Personally, most of the time I give a thumbs up to those I agree with.

Occasionally I'll rate those who present an alternative opinion, but it would have to be well put.

I thumb the funny ones. The really good ones get a thumbs up and an occasional email.

I give a thumbs up according to the content of the question and answer. If I do not agree with it, and it was a personal question and it was answered using honesty then I give it a thumbs up.

I find it annoying that people will get a thumbs down for answering a question that is based on what their opinion is when that question was answered well.

I give a thumb down to long answers, so I can get it out of the way.

I give a thumbs up if i think it answers the question well, or is funny. I give a thumbs down if i think it isn't funny... and many times just to reduce the clutter if it's a very long answer that I don't care to read.... which is fine, since they don't matter.

I give though out answers a thumbs up, even if I don't agree. I love answers that make me think and sometimes even look things up in another window.

I give thumbs up to answers I agree with mostly. But I will also absolutely give thumbs up to people who present their argument thoughtfully and respectfully - regardless of whether or not I agree.

I tend not to give too many thumbs in either direction.

However, when I do, it's solely based on the factual truthfulness of the response - recognizing, of course, that what the responder believes to be true is irrelevent.

Dear,

Perfect answers with reference from Web, Encyclopedia, Dictionary etc., etc.

No guessing answer.
At time there are not logical answers given.

Until to this moment, I try my very best to answer to my very best and to my satisfaction although my feeling are embarrass when my answer was not been chosen as best answers. Effort on referring to Book of Knowledge, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias and religious books. Unfortunately, when selections of Best Answer, others that I feel not reasonable been chosen as "The Best Answers". I keep my fingers cross. That's the Job of the Official of Yahoo!
