Holyfield is the most fake ever champ?
This is why!
He first got his Heavyweight title win from buster douglous, buster douglas was worser than hasim rahman. As hasim beat lewis just because lewis was in bad shape and took the fight lightly. Douglous beat tyson because of the same reason
The 2nd time holyfield got his title was when he beat riddick bowe, bowe also said that the fanman costed him the fight as many agree. later on bowe ko holifield
the third time holyfield got his title was against a washed up tyson, when holifield cheated like a ***** and just headbutted. holifield should have been banned from boxing.
The 4th time holifield won his title was when the judges robbed john ruiz.
Now holyfield is going to fight for the 5th title and against a opponent who has no losses but 1 draw against the great Ray Austin(lmao)
Holifield the most fake ever champ
How many other Heavyweight champ are there that have been ko by a fat middleweight fighter?

Obviously you don't know anything about boxing. Holyfield won his first title, at 190 lbs, by outpointing Dwight Muhammad Qawi in a terrific 15 rd brawl back in July 1986. Qawi was a very formibable champ at both 175 and 190 lbs. Yes Buster Douglas was laughably out of shape for their bout but Holyfield wins even if Buster is in top condition. The first two Bowe fights could have gone either way and while Holyfield was KOd in #3 it was only after he had Bowe down and all but out in rd 6 but just didn't have the strength to finish the job. As for Tyson, just about everyone thought he was going to mop the floor with Evander. However Evander never got the memo and proceeded to give Tyson the worst beating of his career.

All that said, I am saddened that this great and proud warrior continues to climb into the ring when he should be enjoying the fruits and celebrity of retirement. But a "fake champion"? Please.

Don't knock Holyfield's entire body of work by his last few years. His loss to Toney shouldn't affect his accomplishments before his decline in 1998.

Holyfield may not be top 5 or top 10 all-time, but he certainly is in the top 1/2 of all-time heavyweight champs. He gave Bowe his only loss, beat a Tyson who still had his mystique by going straight into the eye of the hurricane, was robbed vs Moorer despite flooring him, and beat Foreman, an accomplishment that could only be truly appreciated years after the fact. He was a legit three-time champ (I don't consider his 4th reign legitimate - Lennox Lewis was the true champ at the time). Only Ali could claim the same at heavy.

The most fake champ was exposed as such BY Holyfield: Mike Tyson. All that was needed to beat Tyson was a guy with some talent and no fear of him. Douglas, Holyfield, Lewis. If Holyfield-Tyson had happened in 1990, if Douglas hadn't torpedoed it, Holyfield would have knocked Tyson out then, just as he did in 1996 and would have in 1997 if not for the "midnight snack." (I always wondered why no one used that obvious metaphor, then I remembered it was in Vegas, and 9 PM Pacific Time.)

Holyfield was overrated. People said he was like in the top 5 ever heavyweights at one point. He wasnt nearly that good, but he wasnt that bad either. He was a pretty good champion, just never on that level of greatness that should be remembered. As for Bowe and fanman, Bowe was a liar (lied in court) and a coward (gave up a title out of fear of Lewis) and was full of excuses. Bowe and Lewis yes were both better than Holyfield in the 90s.

i follow your logic man. i respected holyfield, but he lost me, when he turned dirty. i saw the tyson fights in slow mo and was appalled at his tactics - and they called tyson dirty? he was a great and classic crusierweight and would have been an outstanding heavyweight in an earlier period, but, when it comes down to it, a champ is only as good as the competition he beats...now, who did holyfield actually ever beat? bowe was overrated and took two out of three from holy. lewis beat him and he was definitely overrated. tyson was way past his prime, his skills were non-existent and he went into that fight w/o a strategy, thinking holy was washed up and got bitten. in the 2nd fight, tyson had shifted the momentum in that 3rd round, actually winning it until he got disqualified for the biting. holmes, foreman, cooper..holy struggled against them. the men holy lost to are not even worth mentioning. he'll probably beat a russian or two and, even if he beats them all, he's, at best, a b level fighter on the all-time list. compare his rogues gallery against the truly great heavyweights and he just doesn't measure up. sorry evander, i admire your skills, and your heart. you are entertaning and a great warrior, no doubt, but you are b-level at best!

don't knock tyson off, because of the losses he had past his prime. Tyson era was over in 1990. but even though tyson was washed up he still was could destroy prime holyfield easily, but only if holyfield never got away by cheating with those headbutt,
I also have heard some people complain about wladimir Klitschko clinching but never heard anyone complain about holyfield clinching, since holyfield clinch tyson more time in 1 round than wladimir has done in his whole boxing career
I knew when holyfield at 29yrs old struggle against granpa foreman and lost against larry holmes pushing 50yrs old. since I also agree larry was robbed by those couple of point.
I actually knew holyfield was some lucky bum. Holyfield only beat bowe(2nd fight) because bowe came in 2 stone HEAVIER OF FAT
also the fanman was another reason.
also bowe was robbed.

bowe has actually 2 times been smashed by golata, more than bum holyfield can dream of.
has anyone seen what lamon brewster and lennox lewis done to golata
tyson is the greatest ever fight without a doubt

James Toney weighed 217 pounds when he fought Holyfield. Hardly a middleweight. Get your facts straight.

Not near as fake as all the names you use. Chump

With an emphasis on Custer career, personality, and various strategies, Custer Last Stand sheds light on a romantic side of Custer that is not so often discussed. Deeply in love with his wife, Elizabeth Bacon Custer, this confident warrior could be insecure, especially when they were separated by vast distances.

I totally agree with holyfield being the most fake ever champion.
there never been a heavyweight champ ko by a fat middleweight boxer.
James toney expose what a pusssy holyfield is, no chin, no gut, and holyfield never had the body to handle it against a lightweight puncher such as toney.
james oney would ave ko holyfield at any time, and yes even when chicken bowe ko holyfield, when the 50year old larry holmes beat but was robbed by few poinnt.
james toney alway was too god for holypiss
