Primitive people do not hear about god or religion. Yet, they seem to develop a belief that there is something greater than themselves. Historically, many primitive cultures feel a need to worship and form rituals. They may worship nature or something else but the need is there. In other words they develop a religion of sorts, just one without dogma.

so true, the only reason religion is still around these days is because blow hards have kept it alive in a vain attempt to explain the unexplainable, and for some reason society has accepted this farce, and therefore set rules that if you don't go to church youre a "bad" person. Further evidence of religions stranglehold on the masses.

rational thinking is proof enough that religion is bogus. all religions are mythology, how primitive an individual or a society can be to believe a fictitious story in a book is real and then impose that belief on others.

You might also grow up eating with your hands and using the bathroom outside if it weren't for your parents.
Not all children who grew up in a religious household pursue that same religion or any religion when they leave the home. Other children who never stepped into a church become active church goers later. Really, it all comes down to the individual.

Dear
The Parents of Prophet Abraham peace be on him were Idol Worshippers, but he realized about the God by seeing the nature and reasoning, while Lord Almighty the Ultimate Creater and Nourisher of His creation has also blessed him and he seeked the Right Path of Religion.
There is no compulsion in Religion one has to submit himself upon maturity and they cannot blame their parents for it.

1.What about those of us who were not raised in a Christian home?
2. Everyone on this planet has a "god-consciousness". A realization that there is a maker, and that there is a spirit realm. (those of you who do not believe this, in my opinion have been "indoctrinated with bad information from the public school system). You don't have to take my word on this, just check out tribal peoples who have had no contact with the modern world. They have all kinds of ideas about the spiritual realm and creation.
3. God Himself is not fond of religiosity, He would rather us have a relationship with His Son Jesus Christ. (If you would like Bible verses to back that up email me)
Have a nice day.

As parents we love our children alot and it is our duty to raise them up the best way we know how with God as our guide. To admonish where needed, to discipline when getting out of line and so on.Mostly to Love God and to be moral law abiding citizens.

No, it's not bogas. As for blaming the parents for the kids religious part, it's not up to them. Yes they can tell the kids about being a Christian and whatnot, but it's not up to them to be a Christian. The kids have to make that decision.
Look at Maralyn Manson for example. His parents are Christians, but when he got older, he chose not to be a Christian, but to follow Satan. That's why Maralyn Manson's music is about kids killing their parents. Go check out his lyrics and you'll see what I'm talking about.

What laws of nature do you speak of?
What about liars - if the "law of nature" regarding lying is that it is a form of self-protection, then why do most people hate being lied to?
My parents were atheists/agnostics.
