I alone could keep the paramedics and undertakers busy 24/7 with all the sinners I have seen. In fact I'm sure I would wear myself out after the first few days of killing. I don't have the stomach for it.---There are just way too many sins, and way too many sinners.
This religious nonsense is really getting tiresome.

Because the inerrant and infallible word of God does not tell us to kill sinners! What you should do is read it more carefully. What the Bible says is that we are all sinners (Romans 3:23), you and me both, yet God valued us enough to pay our debt for us if we will only follow Him. Sinners all die. The choice is to die and go to hell where death is forever, or die in peace having lived a life of happiness relating to Jesus, and then going to heaven as saints, no longer sinners.
I think what you've been reading is the Koran or something.

We should not kill sinners, and perhaps, should kill very few of others unless necessary for immediate self defense.
The Bible was written by thousands of men who made many transcription changes both by error and intention, deleted many books and retained others.
Most of it was transmitted only orally and recorded only in memory for thousands of years until it was transcribed for the first time, after which came the many transcriptional changes as well.
Furthermore, every transliteration and version of the Bible made from the first transcription ever written, is necessarily NOT 'the first transcription of the Bible."
Also supposing perfect inerrancy... the Bible doesn't tell us to "kill sinners" except in particular historical periods of time among particular tribes of people, only sinners who do particular acts... These conditions no longer exist.

If you take the time to actually read the Bible, you will discover that no individual was ever given the right to kill another person for their sins. However, the GOVERNMENT of the Jewish people was. It could try, convict, and if needed execute people for crimes. Same as the US or any other government still does today.
At this time, the USA where I live is not established on the Jewish law. It is established on the Constitution and others laws past since that time. Punishment for "sin" (actually crime) is based on those laws. As Christians, we are told (see Romans 13) to obey and support the laws of the land in which we live. So we do.
Had we lived in ancient Israel under the Mosaic law, we would have supported the governments enforcement of those laws.
So individual Christians do not kill people today for sin because the Bible does not (and never has) allowed that.

I think the pastor is on the sauce. The bible is 90% bullshit and 10% lies. What kind of god allows people to go out and kill there fellow man indiscreminately, allows inocent children to be born with deformities and damns people to hell for eternity because they don't see things his way? I believe in a higher power but not one out of some book. My God is forgiving.

The only thing that has made Christians fit for civilized society is the fact that they finally decided to stop following some of the scriptures so fanatically. We should be glad they have rejected many of the laws that call for the death of sinners, even if their reason for doing so is incorrect. Since most of those laws come from the Old Testament, and they say they are no longer bound by Old Testament law, which is incorrect since Jesus specifically said he did not come to change the law. But at least it has made them fit to live in a civilized society, even if they are still delusional.

Jesus did not encourage people to judge other people's actions. That was the churches that came before and after him. Around a third of his sermons were warning people agianst judging others, or warning people against becoming filled with pride and conceit for doing so well at following all the rules and ideals of the Bible.

Just as in a war, executing guilty is not murder. Nowhere does God/Jesus ever talk against the death sentence, in fact, under the old law, if a couple had a son that quarreled with them they had to deliver him to be killed. Not so under the new law of Grace. God gives people time to repent but He will punish them if they do not repent.

nearly all of the bible that speaks of killing the 'sinners' is in the old testament, back when sacrifices were required. but that changed when jesus died on the cross to save us from death. and we're all sinners, even us christians. why would we want to kill ourselves?

Uh bro? You ever read the part in Romans where it says that God does not want anyone to perish but for everyone to love him and make it to Heaven? (And I was paraphrasing there. It's not 6 am and I can't find my Bible at the moment). We are never instructed to kill sinners or even evil people. God is the judge of them, not humans. We are instructed not to murder, and to love. In fact we are instructed specifically, not to just love those who love us, but to go beyond that and love those who don't love us. Because even evil people can love those who love them. We are told to go above and beyond that.
