Harry potter as well as the rest of the characters in the series don't need to be any specific religion. You can cast them in any religion that befits your own though. It is up to you.
The protagonists of the series believed in doing good and being moral and ethical. That is all that really matters. The antagonists believed in the exact opposite.
To give them religion would just be confusing the story lines basic morals and teachings. Which were to (if I remember right , has bean a long time for me) be open minded and just. To fight for what you believe is right , but not to exclude those that have differing opinions of right and wrong. To teach through action and dead , not words and preaching.

I have no idea but the stories are about good overcoming evil and there is a show of commitment in Marriage at he end. I was amused that the name one of Rowling's most severe critics was given to a death eater. I noticed that he did not want to have the superior magic wand because it seemed to have murder as the only way of controlling it
Yes I have read them all and enjoyed them. Why should youngsters have the best stories

Hopefully he shuns religion, religion has no useful purpose and is only effective at one thing, further dividing people. I am personally glad that JK Rowling was smart enough to leave any mention of anyones religious beliefs out of the story,it would have been a detriment in the story just as it is in life.

I have at least two churches in my town...and I'm not Christian.
To be honest I don't think Wizards have religions, just beliefs.

I think he would have more sense and just devote his life to magic rather than religion! To be honest the magic is more believable

harry potter would be a tri-lam because he is a nerd.
he would probably hook up with lamar and learn lamar's limp-writsed throwing style to compete against the alpha betas in the games.
