No so "unexplainable"... if you're in a house alone and you smell smoke, you should call the fire company. If you feel a breeze, close the window.

It was a dream, your unconscious minds way of helping you deal with a stressful time. It's happened to me,and probably many others before, but it's still just a dream. As for the rest it's just memory, you can remember a smell just as you can remember anything else. After all I haven't smoked marijuana in years, but there have been times since when I thought that right now would be a good time for a joint,on on several of those occassions I have actually smelled it,doesn't make it real. But if it's comforting it's cool, but to read anything more into it than that is just wishful thinking.

If you were dead and wanted to let a loved one know you were there with them, what would be the easiest way? The person would need to be quiet and not distracted with everyday stuff. Also, think how receptive they would be when they are totally relaxed during sleep time. Yes, I believe that there are spirits around us after we die. Sometimes I feel my Mom so strong that I have the urge to talk to her. (Sometimes I do) I believe people who have passed through the veil are happy and peaceful. They are not in pain anymore. My church teaches about this and it has given me great peace. You probably feel your uncle because he knows you love him and miss him. If I was dead and I could visit sometimes, I would go and be with loved ones that would be willing to receive my presence and not be freaked out. I saw a really good movie about this called, "Dragonfly" with Kevin Costner. A little freaky at first, but has the most wonderful ending!

Sorry for your loss. That feeling is called delusional paranoia or quite possibly schizophrenia.

Do you smoke? Sinus infections can cause smokers and those around smokers to retain the smell of smoke within their mucus.

A Cool Breeze? I don't have enough information to give you an answer.

Check out Sylvia Brown, or John Edwards... they say our loved ones are always around us. This is your uncles way of letting you know he is ok.

What you "think" is you is really the Universe trying to express itself in a singularity. This is mis-identified as 'ME".
