The Quran says, "in S.V.113 states of Jesus:
"By My leave, thou healest those born blind, and the lepers. By my leave, and behold! Thou bringest forth the dead."
Islam proclaims Jesus was a wonderful prophet, a healer and one who brought the dead back to life. No such acts or powers are ascribed in the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad. So the Quran itself ascribes greater power to Jesus than to Muhammad.

S.111.42-- "Behold the angels said: 'O Mary! God hath chosen thee and purified thee -- chosen thee above the women of all nations.'" Mary then is chosen and purified. The Quran continues:
S.111.43-- "O Mary! Worship thy lord devoutly; prostrate thyself and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down." And now comes this vital and far reaching declaration in the Quran:
S.111.45-- "Behold! The Angels said: " Mary! God giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: His name will be Christ Jesus, The son of Mary, held in Honour in this world and the Hereafter and (the company of) those nearest to God. He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity, and He shall be (of the Company) of the righteous." Mary's reply (again from the Quran) is:
S.111.47-- "'Oh my lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?' The angel replied, 'Even so: God createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a Plan, He but said to it, "be," and it is!'"

I believe this question should be answered without any religious bias. People should look at the achievements of both, their environment, family, resistance and persecution faced. etc and than decide. As a Man Muhammad was very versatile in his leadership (spiritual, political and military) He started off a new faith, and was never betrayed by any of his followers. The Quran are words which he narrated to his followers and to this day the Quran arguably holds more influence than the Bible. Muhammad did something unique, he united the Arabs and developed an ideology which would later on unite people of all races across the world. Jesus also united, but Jews(mostly) have always been united, even in their differences(hint hint Muslims) in fact Jesus arguably caused the first split amongst the Jews. Judaism already existed and Jesus was a Jew, its arguable that Christianity was developed by others. Muhammad formed Islam, and is solely responsible for its beliefs and practices. The achievements of Muhammad has proven him to be a genius and the complete leader, as in he was an Iman/Priest, President, and Military commander. Jesus was obviously also very intelligent however his leadership style was mostly as a spiritual leader. So based on what they did, how they did it, and in what context they did it, i would say that Muhammad's achievements were more remarkable than Jesus.

That's a tricky question But You know somethin' It's fun to answer it 'cause It's so easy.Look In Islam We don't say that there's a prophet is better than another one . they all invited people to worship God and to be on the right track . We all Love all the prophets and there's no difference between them but i got somethin' to say about who had The most amazing miracles . It's no competition and Every prophet was sent into a different culture. Prophet Muhammed Was sent to Arabs in Desert Who had a very tough and amazing language which is Arabic With Tons of poetry. So Magic like healing people didn't Impress Them as they would say "a lot of wizards can do so" and they would have said that Muhammed wasn't a massenger they would have said that he is a wizard and they actully said so when they heared The Holy Quran and Got impressed by it's language , Talkin' about Extraordinary Miracles Prophet Muhammed Split The Moon Into two halfs In Front Of The eyes of all the arabs and thousands of Arabs Were From Different Places Across The Arabian Peninsula Talked about it in the next day and Most of the disbelievers believed in God that night and you can find it in the holy Quran In Surat Alkamar . Aya no.1 " The Hour Became To Close And The Moon Was Split" And A lot of Arabs Said That It was magic , What About Awaking People from death That would be extra magic , Plus Prophet Muhammed Were Sent To Jerusalem At night Prayed There And Then God Pulled Him Up To The Sky , Crossed The Upper Ceiling Of The Universe And Talked To God WIthout Seein' anything All In One Night And When He Came Back He Told The Arabs What He Saw In Jerusalem At Night And Described Every single Corner of the town that night and when the trading campaign returned from Jerusalem They Said That What Muhameed Said He Was Right And All Of The Things that he described were there , Isnt that enough to believe that Muhammed had extraordinary Miracles and to believe that he is a massenger ,By The Way the Holy Quran Told Us a lot of things about the future that came true like aeroplanes and TV And Rockets , The Holy Quran Told Us Things before Scientists discover them With 1300 years like The stages of the creation of A baby and the Nuclear Energy You can read the Holy Quran To make sure with your own eyes and of course The Holy Quran Isn't Modified As It's The Last Heavinly sent Book To Mankind and Muslim Strictly defend id from being modified although hundreds tried to modify it but muslims prevented them.

Prophets are the teachers of mankind. That means, all people are students of the prophets. Which teacher can be greater in the eyes of students? All are equally great.
But, in the eye of God, there are differeces among the prophets. Some prophets have been given books and some others have not been given. God sent the same religion
through all his messengers. Religion is actually a set of rules and regulations to run the society in a civilized way. With the passage of time societis in the world grew bigger and complex and needed new rules. So, later prophets added new rules and laws with the older versions so that societies can become civilized, cultured and peaceful. Finally, God completed the human religion through Muhammed(pbuh). Muhammed(pbuh) is the leader of all prophets. All prophets had a binding on them to describe about Muhammed(pbuh), the last prophet to their followers and to order them to follow Muhammed(pbuh) when he would come.

Actually, Moses is mentioned more times in Quran than any other prophet! Does that make him the greatest?
Muslims believe that each prophet is a representative of God in his own time. When a new prophet arrives, the mission of the previous one is over. Because prophet Muhammad was the last prophet, we should follow him, as he brought the latest message of God.
To ask who was the greatest, is an extremely foolish question. Muslims say, God is Great, and that's it.

In Islam, there is no greater or better. In Islam, all God's prophets are as equal as other prophets. Jesus (Isa) is very well known to all Muslims, and Muhammed was also a prophet.

To answer your question then the answer would be:
Jesus and Muhammad are considered to be equals.
You are forgetting something about Islam.
1. Muslims believe that Jesus was working through God. Jesus, to Muslims, is just an ordinary man like you and me and that he wasn't the son of God.
The fact that Jesus was able to perform miracles is only because God worked through him and not because Jesus was born with the power to perform miracles.
2. Muslims only believe that God has power. Jesus and Muhammad were only God's messengers and that's it. They aren't supposed to be worshiped and Muslims see Muhammad, Jesus, and the other prophets as ordinary people albeit perfect.
Conclusion:
The Quran doesn't ascribe greater power to Jesus than to Muhammad.

My opinion holds no weight but lets just look what other "Christian thinkers" have written about them.
1 Micheal Hart, author of "100 most influencial men", choose Muhammad as the most influencial person in the world, Jesus has 3rd number, Reason he gave that Muhammad is successful on both religious and secular levels, Muhammad Witnessed his religion ruling over Arabia in his life, While Wonderful teachings of christianity spread 300 years after Jesus.
John Goethe, German philosopher, Who is considered "man with entire range of human knowledge" Challenged Voltaire's drama "Ou le fanatisme Mahomet"(the Fanatiscm of Muhammad) in his poem "Mahomet Genseng" (Muhammad's song), In that poem he wrote about greatness of Muhammad and his ultimate humanist preaching.
Micheal aflak, Founder of Baat party, A devoted Christian also considered Prophet Muhamad as greatest leader.
Jesus too a greatest man whose preaching helped billions of people world wide, and Prophet Muhammad also worked for Allah's Deen(religion).
God bless all humanity

This is not a Muslim question. God is great, his prophets are not. Prophets are not anything without God.
Your arguments can be made using Moses and Jesus. Who is greater Moses or Jesus: The answer remains the same, neither.
Allah is one and Muhammad is his prophet. There is nothing about rating prophets in this statement.

Why should your question be geared only towards one sect of people.
I believe Jesus.
I will also acknowledge I don't know much about Muhammad. But I do believe Jesus Christ was God's One and Only Begotten Son.
May God Bless you and keep you in His Mercy. In the Name of Jesus Christ, My Lord, I pray.
