blood in the urine doesnt mean "period" it usually means a urinary tract infection. call the vet and ask what they think (a call is always free), and they will let you know if the cat should be seen. to me it sounds like she needs antibiotics

Take the cat to the vet ASAP. It could be a urinary tract infection which can be costly to fix if not treated right away. I had to have a cat put down because of this nasty infection.

Was the bllod bright red or darkish. The bleeding in the urine is not from the cat being in heat. You need to contact your vet and be ready to answer the questions about, amount? color? frequency? and eating habits being the same or much less? Your best advice will come from the Vet. A phone call is free.

Vet .... FAST!!!! my male cat had problems metabolizing minerals in his food & I didn't know. It cause crystals to form in his bladder & the vet said he would have died if I had waited another hour. Don't mean to alarm you, it could also be a simple urinary tract infection, but with animals things can progress so quick that you don't want to take the chance.

Take her to the vet - she might have a urinary tract infection. After they are fixed, they no longer have periods. Something is not right, so she probably needs to see a vet, and I wouldn't wait too long, you don't want it to get too serious.

Pink urine is a sign of stones in the bladder and should be checked out by a vet before it gets too painful. The stones grind with the inner wall of the bladder and make it painful, they can also scour through the urethra and block it, also both very painful.

No. If your female cat has blood in it's urine then you need to take her to the vet. Cats should not bleed if they have been spayed
