If "brethren" means the human race in general, then I salute that. Peace and understanding in the world would be a wonderful thing.

Like messhuga, I also wonder how come the three major religions that all descended from the Abrahamic line and believe in the OT have such a hard time following their own scriptures like these.

Christians, Jews, Muslims are fighting among each other and also within their own faith as various sects battle for supremecy. It is ripping the world apart as we speak.

Sad.

Psalm 133:one million Behold, how sturdy and the way friendly—team spirit is, in accordance to this scripture, a sturdy element and a delightful; and extraordinarily between brethren—individuals of a similar kinfolk, of a similar Christian community, and of a similar usa. And why no longer between the super kinfolk of mankind? on the different hand, disunion is undesirable and hateful. the former is from heaven; the latter, from hell. When all people work together regardless of beliefs? That would be good and pleasant, unfortunately look how many of the Christians fight amongst themselves as to who is right or wrong...who is "true" or not. It saddens me.

It's a nice ideal...

but explain why the major branches of Abrahamic religions are so against each other; and where those branches themselves are so splintered, to the point to fighting within the branch.
