Clockwise for me but I don't know how to describe the way my husband stirs his. He seems to bounce it off the bottom, and churn it up. It looks daft seeing it written down, but honestly ,thats what he does, and it makes an awful racket. !!

I'm primarily right-handed. I stir counter-clockwise. Sometimes, I do the churn-from-the-bottom method, but I think it's still in a counter-direction. On the rare occasion I stir with my left hand, it's clockwise.

Interesting! I don't drink coffee or tea, but when I just imagined stirring, I went counter-clockwise in my mind. And I'm right handed. But I probably do both.

Wow, you made me have to think about that one! I'm right-handed, so I'm pretty sure I stir in a clockwise (from my view) motion. I think if I stirred counter-clockwise I'd knock the glass over!

Usually anti-clockwise as I am ambidextrous and use my left hand more for such chore.
