I've sinned enough times in my life (like shouting at my parents when I'm mad), and I am sorry for those things, yet I know I will probably do it again even though I can't help it. How will this go with God? Like I said, I'm sorry for these things but if I do it again after repenting will repenting yet again even matter?

You have any idea what a friend is? Take the epidemy of a friend and that's Jesus. He's your savior, yes, but He's also:your healer, your banker, your best friend, your light, your guide. He is with you always.

You don't have to make an appointment. So you got angry? Jesus is more concerned that you see yourself, why you did it, and learn from it. A small silent, "oops, I goofed. I'm sorry Lord" slips out. Not out of guilt but out of the sudden realization that you just stepped out of line and you yourself, want to do better.

At the moment of death, it's not you begging God, it's Jesus standing between you and God. He'll answer for you.

If you are sincere at the time of repentance, that sin is wiped clean; God does not even want it brought up again.
If you know you are going to do something again, then pray to the Father and ask him for the patience and maturity to think before you open your big mouth next time. You do not need to yell at your parents. If you have something to say to them, say it.
Repentance is not a carte blanche for you to continue in sin. Ask for help with this
and then you also have to do your part by
trying your best not to repeat it. If then you do it though you have made a true effort,
you can repent, and if you are sincere, your sin will be washed clean. Don't bother trying to con God; He knows the mind; He reads the heart, so don't waste your time making an *** of yourself with God because it won't work. The key here is
to try your very best and to be sincere in your repentance(s).

Masrin2all is a foolish man. You do not need a doctor. God needs no help from men. It is when you run out of options for doing something your way, and you see no other possible way to make something work, that God steps in and shows you that it is so simple for Him. You needed only to put it in His hands.

Do you know what it means to repent? It does not mean saying you are sorry. Often, when we simply say that we are sorry, it is just an automatic utterance to make ourselves feel better. To repent means to turn away from, to stop, to go the other way. You see, it is your will that you serve by shouting at your parents, or any other things that you do that you know would displease God. You must repent from serving yourself, or your will, and serve God's will.

Simply saying ,"I'm sorry" does not mean anything, if you keep on doing the same thing over and over again. Indulging our temper, and serving our own will are the hardest things to stop, but with God's help, you can do it.

If you have never said the sinner's prayer, you should. It is a simple and direct prayer, and if you truly feel it from the heart, it will change your life. Kneel in a quiet room, and say, "Jesus, I am a sinner. I know that I cannot stop sinning on my own. I need you, Lord. I need you to come into my life, and into my heart, to be the Lord of my life, and my personal Savior. Only by accepting your sacrifice on the cross, and believing that you died for me, so that I may live, can I truly be saved. I accept your gift of salvation, and will follow you until the end of my days. Thank you, heavenly Father. I offer my love and obedience to you. In the name of yor Son, Jesus, I pray. Amen."

If you feel this prayer in your heart, then you can truly repent. You cannot do it alone. Good luck, and God bless you.

If you are worried about meeting God then you need to listen to your heart and get right with God through Salvation, which is a daily relationship with the Lord. Anyone can confess "I'm sorry" but words are cheap....actions prove the genuiness. You can't help it??? Wrong! We all make a conscious choice to say the things we say and do the things we do. You have made a giant leap in that you at least acknowledge that you are a sinner, which is more than most people do. Remember, the Lord wants to save you just as you are....but He loves you toooo much to let you stay that same person. He expects you to love Him first above all else because if we don't there is no way to overcome the tendecy to sin. Living for Jesus is not easy, in that it takes a greater strength than our flesh can provide to combat Satan and remain faithful to the end.....but hallejuah, it is possible through the Lord!

First read Matthew 5:48; "Therefore be ye PERFECT as your Father in heaven is perfect" (Jesus speaking)

Now that you know the conditition that God requires for entrance into His kingdom, you know that you (and me) have a problem.

Since we cant be perfect God Himself came to earth and lived a perfect life for us. He died upon a cross for our sins.
Since He had no sin of His own He could do this.

God then raised Him from the dead to show all that His sacrifice was sufficient to pay the price.

Now all that He requires of us is to put our faith in what HE has done. This means commiting your life to HIM.

(And He doesnt accept just lip service. He really means it. So YOU need to really mean it)

If you do this, He has promised to come into your heart in the Person of the Holy Spirit. You become born again. You then become HIS child.

He will show you, and help you become a brand new person.
Also, because He lives, you will live also.

With Him. Forever.

Oh, and by the way, when you DO sin, you just keep repenting of it and confessing it. (He knows your heart)
You will find over time that as you conquer one sin, you will be dealing with another.

The only mistake you can make is to give up and stop confessing.

You confess your sins to HIM. You will grow. You might not even notice it daily. But as time go's by you are slowly being conformed into the image of His Son.

This is the Gospel. There is no other.

Please seek Him today!

despite faith or faith you declare to be, ensure you realize what your ideals are, and which you realize why you have faith in those issues. I even have common many people who declare to be non secular, yet their strikes do no longer show what they declare to hold as virtuous and real. So, do no longer stay not sure or uncertain. while you're Catholic (or whichever faith you profess), you need to learn those ideals, ask for help and preparation from a church chief or a kin member who's non secular so as that they could proportion with you some perception and advice. additionally, examine the Bible or different non secular textile pertaining on your faith, so which you will understand greater approximately it. That way, once you're making a option to stay with a definite faith, you have gotten the certainty besides as a feeling of objective that what you're following is right factor to your existence.

First of all, I want you to think about what you believe will get you to have right standing with God. Is it repenting over & over again? No. Is it good works? Well, let me tell you that the Bible says that we are not saved by our works. (Eph. 2:8-9) We can never make up for the things we have done wrong. The Bible says that "there is none righteous no not one."

There is a price to pay for our sin & that price is death. (Rom. 6:24) However because we have all sinned we could never pay that price because we are not perfect. God requires perfection because He is holy.

But, the good news is God Himself made a way for us to have a relationship with Him. He loved us enough to send His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for us. Because Jesus was God in flesh He never sinned, therefore, God could accept His life in exchange for ours.

All we have to do is admitt that we are sinners & that we could never be good enough. Believe that Jesus was God's Son & that His blood can cleanse us from our sin and commit our lives to Him.

Chck out my source for a better explanation.

Ask God for forgiveness, He will forgive you, but it has to come from the heart. And you must have faith in God also. I just read Jeremiah where God destroyed his people for their sins, yet after wards he had compassion to bring them back from slavery and give them all they needed and more because they repented of their sins. If God can do that with the sins his chosen ones committed imagine what he can do for you if you have some faith.

You know, the biggest determining factor here is: God knows your heart. If you are not sinning on purpose, God knows that and if you ask Him, he can help you overcome your issues, like anger. Yes, keep repenting and tell God you are sincere and you are trying harder to be a better person and ask for His guidance. You'll be great! Blessings sent your way!

It takes more than just repenting. Unless you ask Christ into your heart and accept His sacrifice on the cross as payment in full for your sins, you will just be chasing your tail (so to speak).

When we are in Christ, we are new creatures. Old passes away. Then you will have His Holy Spirit living in you and working through you so you won't be as likely to do the same sinful things you once did.
