whatever happened to robot wars?

Question

is the question....
what happened to it all?the roboteers, the robots?
what are they doing now?
is there still a robot wars going on?is there still a chance to get into the action if you build a robot or is it all underground now?
if it still going on can someone tell me what channel it's on or what website i can watch it on and where can i download or watch online all the 7 wars (after 7 was when it disappeared to me) and robot wars extreme?
please help i miss it dearly.
all i have left is the games and clips off youtube.
really wanna at least re-live the experience of robot wars once again,please provide links, torrents, or rapidshare links if possible for downloads (if you have what i am after, please upload the files to rapidshare and give me the links,if you do i will give you 10 points, and donate an amount of money to your paypal)

the shows battlebots (US) and robot wars (UK) were actually grown out of amateur robot builders doing competitions in their clubs.
after the shakedown in 2001~2003 battlebots continues as a hobby for plenty of robot builders. it has also become a sponsored competition between highschools as 'battlebots IQ'. see www.battlebots.com
there is also a competing governing body called robot fighting league, see www.botleague.net. RFL has an advantage in that it supports robot weight classes down to 1 pound so anyone can get in on the action.
so you can see videos on those websites, but I haven't heard of any new TV production.

It was canceled. 1997-2003. But repeats are being aired on Challenge TV in Britain. If you're from there. I can't find anything else on the show being repeated in america.
