I've been trying to figure out why there are so many twisted, rude, mean answers to questions in this forum, and I've asked that question before.

Sitting behind my keyboard, I tend to think of other people sitting behind their keyboards as being like me - a little older, educated, etc. It is a natural thought. But this morning, it came to me that there are probabably a bunch of dumb teenagers, and cranksters who haven't gone to sleep yet, and other jackasses, sitting behind their keyboard who have no other goal than to be a pain in the ****.

Be honest: How many of you fit that description? Oh, I know its a dumb question, because people like you are too cowardly to admit it. But, this realization now makes it easier for me to understand why there are so many sophmoric, assinine answers to so many questions here.

Anyone agree with my theory?

Kudos on calling it how it is.

Generally I tend to agree with it.

However there are also older, educated people with agendas.

In the Homeschooling section, for example, there are a lot of naysayer who always rant on socialization. That's because they can't rant on the results, college studies show the typical homeschooler is 3 grade ahead of public school.

I've always wondered if these naysayers are union teachers out to undermind a movement that is emptying the public schools. Right now about 20% of the US is homeschooled as this numuber increases districts lose money and classrooms get very small and teacher layoffs start.

So it is possible some of these trolls are looking to make an issue out of something that isn't an issue.

One has to realized SCHOOL is NOT for socialization. It's for an education and kids talking, texting, passing notes and make faces are not learning.

So I wonder if there isn't some agenda behind some rude comments.

During the summer that might have been the case, but now, everyone should be in school. The only reason I'm here is that I'm switching schools, and will start on Monday.

I'm 14, but I don't post stupid answers. I'm just here to help those who want to know what to believe and to correct those who got their ideas of Christianity all messed up.

I'm certain you are doing great works from behind your keyboard.

This is just a distraction for most of us who know not to take this so seriously. You will only be disappointed if you think you can make a difference.

Nope. Free speech means anything goes. But even YA is censored to some degree.

Wow, teenagers on the Internets? What a surprise. Stop having such thin skin. Why would an intentionally facetious teenager get your feathers ruffled unless you were insecure? They couldn't.

I am wondering who made you judge of who is twisted, rude and mean? Could it be that they are seen this way because of your own perception which would mean that you have made them into what you "think" they are?
