It really depends on when your ceremony is ... you don't want to have everything done by 7am if you're having a 5pm ceremony - take extra time to sleep in!! You should be completely ready to go at least 45-60 minutes before you walk down the aisle. If you're having professional hair and make-up, it will usually take 1 hour each (hair and make-up) for the bride and 30 minutes each (hair and make-up) for each of the other ladies. You should also try to schedule hair first and then do make-up so no smudging occurs.

You need to make an appointment in the morning. If you are getting married around 4:00 you should have it finished by about 12:00. If your hair does not hold well get it done just a little later and have them put a lot of hairspray in it. I have been in 3 weddings and I had my hair done by 10:00 and the wedding was at 4:00. You will be very busy right before and you want to be relaxed while you are busy. Don't rush it all two hours before the ceremony.

Good luck on your wedding day.

I personally think that brides get their hair done too early. You don't need it done at 7am for a 4pm wedding. It's crazy. These women all say that it still looks great at 9pm during the reception but the truth is that it doesn't. I would say that anything more than 6 hours before the ceremony is too early.

I got married in Las Vegas at 6pm.. So, I had my hair done that afternoon around 1 o clock.. I then had my make-up done as was ready with my dress on and shoes by 5:00pm... It just depends on what kind of style you are looking to get and make-up.. The time involved.. I had a bit past shoulder length hair so it wasn't too intricate.. I also just winged it for both my hair and make-up and it turned out GREAT ! Depends how fussy you are..

well, i haven't been married yet, but i've gone to plenty of proms... one time i had to get my hair done at 8:00am! it was terrible because i couldn't take a nap before i went out all night. i don't know what time your wedding is, but if it's at say 4:00pm i would wait until atleast 12:00pm that way you can get some rest earlier on in the day... i'm sure it is very important not to stress or feel rushed on your wedding day.

♥ Depends what time your wedding starts. If its in the evening at like 6, then I'd shoot for it being done by noon. If its early then do it earlier at like 9 or 10 am. Congratulations and Good Luck!

Me and my best friend went to the salon the day of the wedding, it was at 3pm, we went around 11am. She was bride, I was maid of honor. I reminded her to wear a button down the front top! We looked the best, the other 3 girls had their everyday do's.

Don't have your hair or makeup done while wearing your dress. There will be hair on the dress, and probably gel or mousse or spray will get on the dress. Or makeup, then you will be freaking out while everyone rushes around trying to remove a makeup stain from your dress.

i had mine done at 8 am for my noon wedding. It was just enough time.

Wear a button down shirt so you don't have to pull it over your head... and you put the dress on LAST. You step INTO the dress. You don't put it over your head.
