No I think you misunderstood the answers you received, I'll review them in a bit. The point is an extraordinary claim like "god exists" requires extraordinary proof - but I'll be happy to see any reasonable attempt. Second, you don't prove a negative i.e. "Prove that unicorns don't exist" There are many reasons for this, but I'll let you research why.
Science would not attempt to disprove god's existence, but in the process of trying to to prove it, has not found any indication that god does exist. And yes, much of the evolutionary "bush" has not been traced and it gets modified as we get new data, but we do know when man and ape split and we do know where apes and othr creatures came from.

Silly, when you accept the fact of existance you have to prove it. It is impossible to prove a lack of existance. For example, I can't prove that there are not 600ft squirrels.
And apes likely came from simple rodent like things. From before that, early reptiles, amphibians, fish, jelly-type organisms, colonial cells, and single cells. Where'd the first cell come from? Probably an early proto-cell which was not a full cell. Where'd that come from? Probably a reaction of elements and energy, that managed to survive.

As has been stated before, it is impossible to prove a negative.
The best an atheist, who is being honest can say, is that he believes there is no God.
They insist it is "superstition" to believe a God created all things, but they are unable to provide any adequate alternative.
Where did matter come from? The big bang, but where did the big bang come from?
They say life evolved from the primordial soup, which is superstitious to the extreme, to believe life sprang from non-life.
So who's beliefs are really superstitious?

A. First, if you cannot prove to me your god, then you prove to me there is no tooth fairy and the next 2000 mythical creatures. You can't. Why? Because it is almost impossible to prove something is not there.
B. Scientist did not say we came from apes, read your evolution theory correctly. The evolution theory also tell you how the first micro-organism was form and how it continue.

*sigh* Prove to me that Invisible Squirrels don't live in your trees which also do not register a heat signature, or make any noises and are only active when no one is looking. Can you disprove them? No, you cannot. You cannot prove a negative. Understand this concept. Scientists know where apes came from... I don't know where you got this from. You're just talking out of your butt.

OMG Billy Madison!
The Burden of proof is on the person making the positive assertion. Which means YOU have to prove that God exists, not we Atheists.

The burden of proof lies with the believer.
If I told you I believed that I had a green alien living in my closet, you would probably not believe me. You would probably ask me to prove that I had a green alien living in my closet or you might ask me to show you the green alien. What sense would it make for me to ask you to prove that I did not have a green alien living in my closet when I am the one who made the claim in the first place?

Have you even made it TO 8th grade Science yet?... Evolutionary studies are Junior High School material, have you gotten that far yet?
BTW- I've already said this once before- THINGS THAT DON'T EXIST DON'T LEAVE EVIDENCE THAT THEY DON'T EXIST!!! THE LACK OF EVIDENCE TO PROVE YOUR GOD'S EXISTENCE IS ALL THE EVIDENCE NEEDED TO DRAW A LOGICAL CONCLUSION THAT HE DOES NOT EXIST.
K?

You cannot prove the non-existence of a thing, therefore it is up to the one who claims something DOES exist to prove their claim.
