I really love my boyfriend... he is perfect except the fact that he is so judgemental.
He is a graduate of Ivy school, and I am not. He always talks about how boring my work is (information technology). I know it is not intentional, but it hurts me a lot.
How can I deal with this feeling? Am I just insecure?

He thinks he is better than you. I bet he is always saying how intelligent he is and the rest of the people are stupid. And you love him very much? You must BE very insecure.

Nope, you are not insecure. He is an arrogant dolt. He has a lot of growing up to do. He isn’t going to change soon if at all ever. Dump him.
He sounds like he has the potential to be controlling as well. Controllers usually wind up being abusive. He is obviously already verbally abusive. Dump him

Seems like BF isn't so perfect after all...A "holier-than-thou" attitude is for losers (sorry)...Is he working?...Did you pay for his school?...IT jobs are the hottest commodities on the market...And I would tell him that his criticisms are hurtful and not appreciated...If he doesn't respond to your concerns, then I suspect that any feelings he has for you are very shallow.
