No, it's not a problem, yours are as normal as anyone elses who has had it done.
I had mine done about 6 years ago, took it out after two years as it never healed properly, was always weeping.
Yet I know people who have had it done without any problems, so get a good recommendation first.

If you think about it, most peoples nipples will only "stand to attention" when it's cold or they are turned on.
If you're male then you're likely to have small, flat nipples anyway. Male nipples get pierced through the aereola (the brown bit behind the nipple) and the vast majority of piercing studios I've been to have said that nearly all male nipples can be pierced.
If you're female then it may be different. As women usually have larger nipples than men (i.e. there's more that sticks out, for want of a better way of putting it), female nipple piercings are usually done through the nipple itself.

Hi there,
Sorry to start off by being a bore, but think carefully before getting it done, Make sure you go to a reputable company, (always by recommendation..) And lastly but MOST importantly follow all instructions on caring for your piercings, infection can cause serious illness !!!! On top of the information they will give you, I would suggest that you buy some Pure Tea Tree Essential oil, (you can buy this from most chemist's, supermarkets and on line), If you apply this oil twice a day as an "added treatment", and keep the area Very Very Clean, you shouldn't have too many problems.
Good Luck

Make sure you get a loop or a large enough barbell so that when your nipple isn't on "alert" there is room for the skin to expand. (Does that make sense...?) You don't want the piercing to be enveloped when your nipple is flat.

well, once you get your nipples pierced,
theyre constantly poking out like youre cold.
and when they pierce it,
theyre automatically going to poke out
bc someones touching your ****.
so no, it doesnt matter what your nipples like,
you'll have have hard nipples for the rest of your life.

unless your nipples are practically inverted when you're not cold you shouldn't have a problem. sometimes people do better with shields rather than a cbr:
