I have some chronic undereye circles that are always there even when i get enough sleep. they aren't too bad when i do get enough, but i was wondering if anyone else has them and how do you cover them up? what makeup, lotions, treatments have u used? i'm sick of looking like i just woke up from the grave in the morning!

The skin there is thinner, and some of us just always have shadows there. Mine improve when I'm hydrated, healthy, and rested, but when do all 3 ever happen? Lotions won't change dark circles. Makeup will only cover it, but I find that too much concealer makes them obvious. I dab a little concealer only in the inner corners of my eyes. I wear face makeup and blend from the cheek towards the eye, but I don't cover the circles. Then I just wear bright shadow to bring attention to my eyes, and leave the circles be. You might want to try concealer, or creamy foundation, or just a bit of powder.

Dark circles are tough to cover, though, and makeup can look really obvious over them. Apply in good lighting. Good luck!

I have them & I hate it! I havnt found a conceler that stays on or looks natural so I dont even try to cover them up any more. I heard putting potatoe peels on your eyes at night for about 30min will help, havnt tried it yet but I will. For me its heriditary most of the females in my immidiate family have them, my two yr old daughter has them already. I guess i'm stuck lookin like a racoon LOL.

I have them as well but it seems like when I use plain old everyday eyeliner they dont seem to be as dark.

I'm afraid to use any type of skin care products on my face I never had to and I dont want to start using them now.

I don't think your sleeping pattern or habits have anything to do with it.
