Ok im going to school for criminal justice and im trying to figure out what all i can use it for and i know you can't use it for that but im curious anyway.Im thinking about becoming a Deputy sheriff.

In the 3 States I have lived in, Animal Control was an office of the County. No formal or educational background was needed.

animal control is a law enforcement duty so a degree in criminal justice may help, rather than hinder you in such a path. it would even help to have some training in veterinary care regardless of whether or not you want to become a veteranarian.

I don't see how criminal justice and animal control are related. One works with people and the other nabs stray animals.

Anyway, you'd probably need a high school diploma.

None , in most areas. All they need is someone with s driver's license who can do such a job with minimal training.
