Do you love to get drunk in the Holy Spirit?

Sorry to those of you who do not understand this question. For those of you who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, drink up and enjoy!

I never liked the term "drunk" in the Holy Spirit, as if someone stumbles around like a drunkard. The Bible says one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is SELF-CONTROL. :)

The filling of the Holy Spirit does provide a love for Jesus and an incredible satisfaction with life.

Sorry for you but if the Holy Spirit is making you drunk then you have a demonic spirit and not the Holy Spirit!

Every recovering alcoholic I ever met claimed they were "spiritual, not religious", so I guess your logic is sort of in keeping with that, eh?

Let me put it this way, I do get kind of a Spiritual buzz, but not drunk.

My glass is just not deep enough yet but it is fixen to get there because we are getting ready to go deeper spiritually and deeper into God's word and in his love get ready to receive it in the name of Jesus,

Yes, people do get caught up and even addicted to this type of emotional manipulation. I've met many Spiritual alcoholics at various rallies. They're like zombies. They can't even put together a coherent thought.

Ignorance is bliss, I guess. It really highlights how emotion can replace rational thought. "Sheep" truely is a good metaphor for religious people. The Christians got that one right.

This is yet another way that religion harms society.

I get drunk on spirits fairly regularly, so I suppose so.

Addiction is addiction. I don't care whether you're addicted to booze, sex, gambling, cookies or God; it's all the same thing.

Bad.
