His dumb*** comment about women being lesser than men brought out a whole bunch of different posters: women, men, Christian, atheist, agnostic, and I'm not sure how many others ... and we all dumped on his sorry butt for being a sexist fundie "black pot!"
Have you any doubts now that, if it ever became necessary, we could all fight side by side, together, for a mutual, good cause?
(work with me ... I'm a hopeless optimist.)

Preys Jesus - I DISAGREE! Woman is NOT man's personal Molly Maid/Nanny 911/ bottle-washer, floor-sweeper, lawn-raker, shoe-polisher, car buffer and pipe-fetcher! Dream on!

HIS SERVANT - Reading my post again will clarify any confusion you may have. I was saying that even though we have our differences, Christians, atheists and others alike will rally to challenge the claims of a "fruitcake."

There was never any doubt to begin with. Aside of a few ******* floating around here (such as god's elect or the "two word wonder"...fire something or another :D) I like most of the people that frequent this site... even those I make fun of from time to time.

I don't think the bible says Eve was created to serve I think it says because Adam was lonely. Hard to believe he was lonely in one day. The man is suppose to be ahead of the household not a slave driver not better no one is better than anyone else we all fall short of the glory of God. The part with women are suppose to be subserviant means if your husband has prayed and has gotten you opinion but feels that what he wants to do is right then you should let him make the decision. example husband wants to move to a different state you don't want to. He has thought about it and prayed about it a long time. let him Make the decision for the family. It has nothing to do with ordering someone around.

Do these type of men know any women at all?
It seems you would have to be raised by a gay couple that had a psychopathic hatred of females to have such attitudes. I know they can't have a mother or daughters.
Yes we can work together. It's what civilized people do even if they disagree on some points.

Never had any doubts to begin with.
We disagree on the existence of a supreme supernatural entity and the "laws" that Christians believe everyone should follow. The sparring in here is usually done in good fun, with each side giving as they get. Usually.

The early church was almost entirely run by women....of course when the men took over at the end of the 3rd century, they got Eusebius to re-write the history....

God made them separate for each other. One complements the other. God said a man should
love and treat his wife as he does his own body.
What is wrong with that? If more of that was being
done, the world wouldn't be in the mess it is in today!
Mankind treating others as they would like to be treated;
now what did you say is wrong with this????

Optimism is a good thing - hope for the best, but plan for the worst.
And yes, humans have a wonderful ability to work together if they just choose to.

This is the same psycho-stalker who inspired the "vile temptress" badge of honor. A lot of people will cheer in unison when this person is locked up, preferably before he harms someone.

What would be even better is if we could keep anyone from posting a response, it only feeds his anger & illusion. I would like to just starve him out, not even dignify his rants with a reply.

Absolutely. I'm a Christian, but right is right and wrong is wrong, according to me too. If I'm judged for it when I die at least I can say that I did my best and tried to be moral, even when the Word was against me.
