Yes I do..its a coverup. A responsible parent doesnt leave a child alone to go for dinner. They could have afforded a great nanny. Nope something is fishy.

Honestly I don't know and neither does anyone else except for Kate. I do know that because of people like Susan Smith, Andrea Yates and the list goes on and on that whenever a child is missing, the mother is usually the first one to blamed. Did she make mistakes---yes, those kids should have never been left alone, but parents always make mistakes and do we have the right to judge and condem someone on one mistake(that we know of) that they made. The fact of the matter is they had money, they were very well off and if that isn't a motive for someone to kidnap and possibly murder that child I don't know what is.

this is a very tough situation.... I really did not see any pain in either parents eye when they discuss this live on tv. I think they do know what happened and yes why would a parent leave those children alone and go to a dinner party? Not in the best interest of the kids for sure. I am sure the police have all the info they need to look at both parents on this issue. She was such a beautiful child "was she or they loved"? ~ This will be ongoing just like the Bonet situation.

I'm more inclined at this point to say I believe she had something to do with it. The story hasn't been one I've been keeping up with very well, but I found it suspicious from the beginning that any parent would leave their children unattended in a vacation complex while they were somewhere else on the resort eating and having fun with friends. It's not the same as being at home and just sitting out on the deck. I mean, how many strangers wander around your house who have the right to do so? How many people have keys to get into your house? When you put a child to bed, how many times will she wake up and/or get up? I have always suspected that these parents were involved somehow.

Maybe it's the optimist in me, but I think that she is innocent. I do not think that her and her husband would have made this such a big deal internationally and been trying for so long to find her daughter if she did anything to hurt her. I do think it was negligent on the parents' part to leave Madelaine and her other child alone while they went out. Why did nothing happen to the five year old either? It doesn't make sense... it just doesn't add up to me with either parent hurting their child. To me, their pain seems genuine.

i would like to say no, but the truth is, its obviously a possibility. its impossible to believe a woman would do that to her own daughter, but then its just as hard to imagine that someone would be so evil to abdust he in the first place. i sincerely hope she wasnt involved, because that would make the case even more sick and disturbing. you can only hope the best for the child.

if the parents were involved, it destroys all the international campaign and all the thoughts and prayers and support they recieved. by the smae token, ointing the finger of blame b4 we know the truth could ruin the efforts to find the girl alive, or her body if she was layed to rest else where. even if she is guilty, i reall pity that woman, can you imagine how mentally sick you would have to be to do that. i feel its more likely she is innocent, and in that case, i think its horrendous that she has to go through all this on top of everything else.

i think you would have to be an evil genius to do that. how could they hide or dispose of a body with that much media and police involvment, which they seeked out and brought upon themselves. i think it is practically impossible, and maybe not a realistic accusation.

I'm inclined to say the parents did have something to do with it, but then it doesn't really make sense to only get rid of one child when there are 2 more. It seems that if they wanted to get rid of children they would have staged it like a break in and gotten rid of all 3. I don't know though it's very suspicious. Either way leaving the children alone is so horrendous. They should be held partly responsible even if they are "innocent" of getting rid of the child.

God I hope not. Imagine that poor litte girl. How scared she must of been (or still is. We still dont know if she's dead yet and I don't think the press shud say she is dead until a body is found. She cud be anywhere. I know a long time has passed and its not looking good but hopefully she will be found soon. I'v been following the story practically everyday since her disapperence and with the amount of press this story is getting its so hard to believe that nobody has come forward with information to her whereabouts. Maybe her parents did do it but it looks like we might never know.

The parents were having dinner in the hotel's pool-side restaurant with friends and said they checked on their children at regular intervals=NEGLECT.

I have a 4 year old boy & he could figure out how to get out of the hotel room. Doesn't take a scientist.

Should have NEVER left them alone!

I don't neccesarily think she actually killed her. I think the death was probably an accident and being that she was wrong in the first place for leaving the kids alone, she felt she would be in less hot water if she covered up her mistake instead of admit to it.
