Your age is KEY in giving a good answer. IF your an adult (over 18) then move on with your life (with out your parents). If your still in their care, do the best you can until you reach adulthood then move on. If you do everything they ask, they should be happy with that. Also try and have a heart to heart talk, sometimes that helps. Maybe they can shed some light for you.

I am sorry you feel that way. I am a parent and I hope this helps. Sit down with your parents and tell them how you are feeling. Most parents wouldn't want their child to feel that way. It would break my heart to have my kids feel like I hate them. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Most likely it is displaced stress. You may even go to your parents and say "I know your stressing and I am thinking maybe I can help in some way" Hopefully this will open the door to conversation...or at least shock them into silence so you can open up to them about how you feel. Communication is the best way to strengthen relationships. If you don't tell them, they may never know. Be positive. If you keep the focus on yourself and how you are feeling, it will keep defenses down and hopefully things will work out. Good Luck. Remember...parents may not like the things you do, but they always love you no matter what.

Probably nothing. Did you tell them you feel like this and ask them this question? Parents aren't perfect and sometimes it takes the children flat out telling them they need more attention to bring them back to reality. I'm sure they love you and have something else going on. Remind them you are there and you love them and maybe suggest a day for just family to reconnect or something.

I'm sure your parents don't hate you. If they are strict it means that they care about you and your future. Sometimes kids don't realize until they are grown up and have kids of their own why their parents did the things they did.
