I am not saying you're stupid just to be mean. I'm saying it because it's true.

Geez, whine much?
So you say not all Christians are the same. Yet you treat all atheists as if they *are* the same.
I've never seen a Christian be nice to an atheist on here, either. Maybe you can start the ball rolling by doing unto others.
For the record, I don't think atheists hate Christians, as much as they're simply frustrated that modern people in an age of science can actually believe some of the crazy things they do.

You throw around the term "atheists" like it's some all-encompassing category. The truth of the matter is that atheists just don't believe in a god or gods. End of story. It's not a club. It's not a conspiracy. Chances are two atheists chosen at random might completely disagree politically or economically, the same as if an atheist and Christian were chosen at random. Come down off your high horse, get over the martyr complex and grow up (or at least grow a spine).

NOT true.
They don't hate Christians, they just think it's ludicrous that Christians don't question the sanity of anyone who has told them that the bible is really the words of a god, that a guy named Moses split a sea in half to let people walk to the other side, that combustible bushes talk and a fella can sit inside a whale and go for a ride.
They don't hate Christians, but DO hate having their noses constantly rubbed into the dirt about having no morals, being lazy and stupid, and frying in hell. It bugs the HELL out of them.
It's a Catch 22 situation: who threw the first turd? Atheists say the Christians did. You're too new to really know WHO started it, aren't you?

I find Christians to be most hateful toward other Christians. The Baptist don't like the Pentecostals and vice of versa. I remember visiting a First Baptist Church, when the Pastor found out that I was coming from a Pentecostal Church he made a cross sign with his hands like he was repelling me as if I was a Vampire or something, and then he went on this diatribe about Pentecostals. That was the silliest thing I have ever witnessed in my life. And needless to say, I never visited that church again.

I think your wrong. Not all atheists are haters just like not all Christians are lovers. Some Christians(who really aren't if they're actions are any indication) are so bias and judgemental its not even funny. They refuse to accept that not everyone beleives the same thing which in turn creates animosity and hatred.

"Blame the act, not the child".
I hate some of the things many christians are doing, not christians as a whole.
I don't think I've ever been mean to a nice christian - if I was, I apologize.
Let's make a deal: You promise me that nobody ever gets hurt by your religion again, and I'll never discuss it again.
In the meantime, more americans are killed every year by christian opposition to medical progress than by terrorists.
Read Letter to a Christian Nation if you want to understand how harmful your religion is.

May I suggest that your comment "...not every Christian is the same..." may be expanded to include atheists, as well, as in "...not every human is the same..."
You might want to look a bit more closely at the responses of atheists. If you do, you will find that they vary as widely as do the responses of Christians.

You are doing the same now. No, we don't hate christians, we just think that most (there are exceptions) are to blind to see what is right in front of them...logic. Most would rather follow blindly than search for themselves. Many of us atheists are reformed christians that just can't believe that people buy into the load of crap that is spilled from the mouths of your leaders.

You must be new.
Most of the atheists on here fall into the moral atheist category and quite a few of us have great respect for people of any religion so long as they are tolerant.
