It's not against free will really, I could choose to take god on faith but given the current set of evidence that we have, that would be like taking Santa on faith. I would be more than happy to have a loving heavenly father, but unlike my "earthly" father there is no solid or compelling evidence to indicate that one exists.
Right... so let's drag out the evidence for the Bible: locations are faily accurate. That's it period. Even fiction books like Harry Poter get some real locations right, and you want me to "convert" because of that?
Continue the comparison of the bible to science, God changed the propertys of light or of water after the flood so that light refracts in water? If this was true either deep water was not blue or the sky was not blue before the flood and both of these would have been a much bigger iimpact than just the rainbow.

God is just. You see what you want to see. Creation is all around and yet atheist still say their is no God. Evidence is all around like the Bible. If you compare what is written and science you might be more enlighten. Start with creation of the Bible and evolution. What animals were created first in both stories, it is that simple. Which was written down first. How come the Bible says it first?
