And they are serious. I am a 30yo 'good girl' (drug-free, mentally stable, in good shape, have a great job). And my parents are just middle class 'normal' people.

I find it too hard to live on when my parents don't want me to exist in this world. Help.

What? Have they always said this to you, growing up? If they did it is a miracle that you grew up mentally-stable,healthy and drug-free.You've done a great job holding on to your sanity for so long and I hope you don't mind me saying this, but your parents sound like their lives have had lots of regrets and although the world is better to have known you, your parents weren't ready by any means. One can't hold that against them but it does shead a light on their own mental state of mind, cause regrets lead to hatred. All I can say is Thank God your an adult and you can make choices of your own, smart ones too I might add, so don't give up and go forward in spite of it all, you've came this far to let their regrets become your own.You know your smarter then that.

No matter our age, when with our parents we can feel like the child we were while growing up. If parents don't give their kids the respect and behavior we deserve as adults - to be treated like mature individuals - we may feel trapped in that sort of dynamic (the give & take).
You must turn to others for love and support if this is how your parents treat you. You have to build a life of your own so you don't depend on them emotionally or financially.
If you can get counseling, that will help you figure out how to handle and manage your life in a way that isn't detrimental.
Your parents are acting extremely selfish, I won't say anything unkinder about them. They can't be expected to change, but you can.
Best wishes; please stop taking to heart what they think unless it's good for you.
I want you to live and be a part of life.

Your parents are not mentally stable. There is something wrong with them not you. Move on and make a life for yourself and prove them wrong. Has little or no contact with them...not all parents are loving and good and they are a perfect example. You need to start believing the your parents are 'NORMAL' people because they are not. Move on with your life and you have your whole life ahead of you. Your 30 years old....to old to be tied to your parents...Now go and put one step ahead of another. If you are living with them, move out immediately!!!!! even if you just rent a room somewhere...BREAK YOURSELF FREE-ONLY YOU CAN DO IT - NO ONE IS GOING TO DO IT FOR YOU! Good luck-its up to you now...make a great life for yourself!!!!!

Your parents sound like F***S. Forget about them and live your life. If they keep saying they don’t want you in this world then there’s a serous problem with them. My advice would be to move as far away from them as possible!! No person has a right to say those things and anyway your life sounds pretty good to me, it's just your parents that are freaks.

They gotta be kidding. I've never heard a parent tell their child that, not even adult child. You've gotta stand and tell them.
" Why don't you want me alive? Is there anything bothering you? Did I do something that harmed you or bothered you? "
If they don't tell you anything and keep telling you to commit suicide, go find your own place to live. And cut any communication with them. What parents could even say that to their child ? Believe me your parents are mentally unstable, they're freaks ( NO OFFENSE ).

I think first of all you need to move out of your parents house and get your own and I also think your parents need to go to a shrink big time they should never tell there kids to go and kill them self no matter how old they are under any circumstances.

The world is your oyster, now go out and find your pearl. Life, especially a happy life is too short to be brought down by low people. Sorry about your circumstances.

First, if you are living with your parents, move out and don't leave them a way to contact you. Second, seek a counselor to help you understand that your parents are NOT normal to say that to their child! Third, move on with your life and enjoy it, don't let others bring you down!

Good luck!!

Your parents are NOT normal if they want you to kill yourself. And if you are 30 and your parents are telling you to kill yourself. Then why are you hanging around your parents? Do you live with them? If so, get out and get a place of your own.

your 30 years old, and on your own. Tell your parents to back off...butt out, and dissapear.

Use your brains girl. It's time to evaporate from sight. get away from them, and their influence. Don't let them find ware you have gone to.

You do not in any way, need the foolish brain dead opinions, from obviously jerks for so called parents
