I am a good 30yo (drug-free, mentally stable, great job, in good shape) but my parents keep sabotaging my life. They ring up/head up my workplace and resign my job without my acknowledgement. They call my friends up to mess up my life. They even push my buttons and tell me to KILL MYSELF.

Do you have parents like this?

NO I don't. Sounds like you need to cut ties for a little while. Maybe they will seek help.

Well, some parents NEED to feel needed by their adult child or they feel lonely or depressed. I have to ask an important question: Are you living at home? Since your parents just happen to have all your friends/work numbers. If you are this is quite simple LEAVE the nest.. Keep your work numbers/friends number private. Also, your parents can't call your boss and "resign" your job that's just ridiculous.. Wouldn't your boss question you and your motives? Sounds like you need a bit of seperation between you and your parents and maybe a trip to see a mental health specialist..

Yes, I did and until I gave them the boot and it's been five years since I've done that, I didn't live in complete bliss. With them gone, I got my self-respect back and live a very happy blissfree life. Try it, it works!

I don't have contact with them nor do my children but it's healthier that way. My parents were what is called 'toxic parenting'. You don't need them!

first things first you make sure don't let your parents get to you your the better person and thats not nice what they are doing so if somehow talk to them but if this does not work move change your number if possible it seems to me that when there mad or just want to pick on someone they pick on you but you need to get away from this so it does not bring you down theres are ways for this you'll think of them. good luck with your life

No, I don't. I am sorry that you do. It's hard to believe what you are saying is true. There must be more to the story. If all is true, you need to put major distance between you and your parents. I find that if you tell people your "business", they make it their "business".
