Funny, every time somebody asks this, I give the same answer.
NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
You cannot get a licence in any US state, or Canadian province, Switzerland, South Korea, Britain, Germany or Belgium, for starters, without making a false statement that isn't caught. That will likely only happen on a weekend or when computers are down. When that catches up to you, any licence issued in error will be immediately revoked, then you will have a revocation AND a suspension on record.
You must get the suspension lifted in Alabama.

There is probably already a bench warrant issued for your arrest because you didn't show up to court for the ticket violation. Call the courthouse and ask them about it. Chances are, all you'll need to do is to pay a fine and court costs. I suggest you do this asap as an officer who pulls you over and finds out you're driving on a suspended license and you have a warrant for "Failure To Appear" will be making very sure you appear for your next court date by putting you in jail until you go to court. Not to mention impounding your vehicle which means even MORE money to get it back. My brother made this mistake once. He was thrown in the county lock-up for about 8 hours until his wife could come up with the $300,00 in bail. Plus $167.50 to get his car back. Then he had to return to court answer to the charges of driving with a suspended license. A fine for that plus the reinstatement fee for the suspended license... That single mistake cost him almost $1000.00...

Not a good thing to try. They will ask you if you have had a license in another State and you will also sign papers that certify you have told the truth. If it slips by at the time and is found later, you get to go to court and probably have another license suspended. Florida has computers in all their DMV stations.

No. FL will check your record and honor the suspension.
But....it doesn't hurt to try. You might get lucky and they may miss something.
