Selling of my father's guns. Really have a limited background on them.... here is what I do know

Remington Fieldmaster model 572 pump action 22 caliber
12 gauge Remington Wingmaster Model 870 pump action (have 2 of them)
30 "aught" 6 Remington Gamemaster 760 pump action

Don't have the exactly years but they would have to be ATLEAST 25 years old since they have been around for as long as I can remember.

Has far as quality..... some look better than others but as a whole I would give them a 7/10.

The .22 rifle is worth about $150; the Rem. 870's if in deluxe blue finish [not the express model] should be worth about $250 ea; and the 30-06 is about $300.

All listed prices are based on "standard" model rifles/shotguns and not Deluxe grade guns with vent ribs regraving of any kind. Values are fair market values for September 2007. ADL & BDL grade guns wilkl be worth more than the above listed standard manufactured firearms.

Another thing that will effect the prices that JD quoted is your location.

In some places, you can get considerably more, especially for the M-760, and in other places, you will have a hard time selling them at all. In this area, Remington pump rifles are popular and you might get as much as $100.00 more than the prices JD quoted.

It would be a good idea for you to save the prices JD quoted and then hit some local gunshops and pawn shops to see what similar guns are bringing. Then price your guns accordingly.

One more thing. If you try selling these guns to a licensed dealer, he won't offer you anywhere near the prices JD quoted, since those are the prices he will be trying to get when he resells them. You will clear more money with private sales than you will selling to a dealer.

My guess, the shotguns and 30.06 are around $200, the .22 maybe $100. Just guesses though.
