There is no fat in alcohol. What you have in your cider is not fat, but sugar.
Distilled spirits, bourbon, vodka, gin, rum, scotch, etc. have no carbs, either sugar or starch.
Beer and wine do have carbs.
If you want a lower calorie drink, mix a distilled spirit with a low calorie and no calorie mixers. Rum and diet Coke, for instance. Bourbon and diet 7-Up, as another example.

Drink all you like! There is no fat in alcohol but lots of calories. How about a nice Gin and slimline tonic, around 80 calories

Drink water, either plain or carbonated. Fill a glass with ice, add the water and then add a wedge of lemon or lime. People will think you're having a 'real' drink, but you will be able to see how stupid people can become when they overdo it. Have some fun with it: be a designated driver, then drop people off at the wrong houses!

Your best bet is do drink bacardi rum and diet cola. Here's the information. It's only 65 calories, and low in sugar. It's the best way to drink if you're on a diet.

alcohol is all carbs, as far as i know. i can easily drink up to 2000 calories in booze...for days on end, while doing little physical activity (aside from lifting the bottle to my mouth)...and i keep losing weight.
so dont worry about it....drink something crazy and enjoy it.
