What might be the problem? is there a recall for this problem?

I notice it start to happen after i send in my camera for the recall of the LCD problem

It sounds like the battery has gone bad. You might have to buy a new one.

Depending on the type of battery and how old it is it might need to be replaced.. If your old battery is rechargeable it might NOT be "memory free" which means you should drain it completely BEFORE recharging or the battery will "build up" a memory based on how much power is STILL in the battery shortening the battery life... So, get a new battery or two and maybe clean the battery contacts with a pencil eraser ! Good luck

first of all, how old is that battery of yours? Rechargeable batteries tends to degrade in quality over time. Try to replace the battery with a new one. Hope it'll work.

Otherwise... I'm afraid it's the camera.
