I wouldn't be too worried. I had a similar problem with my cat a year or so ago. She caused it by scratching cuz she had fleas. As long as your flea treatment is up to date, just keep an eye on it. If it doesn't improve get a vet to look at it.

Cats normally heal themselves by licking their wounds. If it is on the back of her ear maybe she cant reach it? So you would need to lick it for her?? Just kidding. But you would need to keep it clean for her. Use a cotton ear budd and wipe it with a disinfectant. Same like you would for a wound on you.

If it is dry then leave dont soak it too much, but keep the skin around it clean.

If you can touch it with out her getting upset, then it obviously doesnt bother her too much.

No don't be worried. They cuts just like we do.They get scabs just like we do.Just check though to make sure it is not a tick.I felt a scab on my cat once and turned out to be a tick.So please check again very carefully. If it is just a scab ok but if not take the tick out with a pair of pliers and you pretty much have to burn them to kill them.Good Luck

Watch for signs of infection-swelling tenderness, drainage. Any of those, go to the vet. Otherwise it will heal. You can clean it if you want with diluted peroxide or just mild soap.

Maybe she scratched herself to hard. Wash it and put some neosporin on it. As long as it's not raised or pus filled don't worry, but keep an eye on it and see if she scratches more then usual.

She probably has fleas and they cause her to itch.. sometimes obsessively. Check her fur for any fleas or flea eggs. If you see any, treat her with flea medicine that can be bought at your vets or at a local merchandise store like Wal-Mart. Or you can order online.. just google it.
