Too soon to fall in love. Tell him that you really care for him, but do not commit to love. Do not believe that he actually loves you. He is probably in lust!!

My boyfriend started saying "I love you" at the end of phone conversations and stuff after we had been together for only 1 month. I never said it back simply because at that point I really did like him but did not love him yet. He would say "I love you, have a good night", and I would just say something like "okay, see you tomorrow" but never actually say it back.
Eventually, when I did actually love him I started saying it back. Now, we've been together for 3 years and we're both still totally in love with each other. We have talked about how that was awkard for both of us and he admits that it did hurt his feelings at the time because he really did love me but we're both glad that when I did say it I really meant it.

I will tell you that yes it can happen.I met my husband in April of 1998 and we got married in July 1998.Yes only 3 months. We have been married for 9 years that just past in July 2007.So yes it is possible but be careful usually when you are young they say just to get you in the sack.I am also an adult over 40.Just be very careful. Those that truly love you will wait for you no matter what.

2 months is soon to say it but you never know. Maybe he just has really really strong feelings for you, however, you should be careful. I wouldnt suggest every saying it back unless you really mean. Wait until you are ready, don't feel preasured because he said it.

You can fall in love for less time than that,if you feel the same like he,than you should say it back but if you dont, dont lie to him just give him a soft smile...

yeah he may mean it, and only if you love him should you say it back
he may just mean that he loves things about you and in turn he wants to show he cares and says he loves you
i think that "love" is used too much.. and to me it has serious, and i mean serious meaning. there are other things you can say, i love things about you, i am in "like" with you and stuff like that.
it does take at least a year for someone to completely know someone and until they do then they should say the love word

Go slow. Don't return with 'I love you too.'
Saying is not convincing of his love. Saying confirms lust, not love. Lust of body and love of self. Make no hurry, first assimilate the beginning, then advance further. Go slow.

you have to make sure if that guy still likes you. Things can change within months if you dont keep in touch and he might get into another relationship.
