I would rather have a good friend than a good lover reason been that it is very rare to lose a friend than a lover.

Why not have both?
If I really have to choose from one or the other, I would pick the good friend. Lovers come and go, but good friends are forever.

a good friend that could be a good lover someday...if time and opportunity will allow. the foundation of any good relationship is friendship. a good friend therefore is a good lover too.
a good friend who is a good potential lover is someone whom you are a friend with but you don't expect that you will be lovers in the future. you became friends first because you wanted to become friends, period. becoming lovers are just added points to such friendship later.

They have to be combined can't have one without the other in my minds eye Why would I want to make love with someone that is not a good friend ..There are some on YA who are very special to me that I like very much and I hope are becoming a good friends which I would really care for and like to combine with to become one with in mind body, soul, harm ye none, blissful happieness They know who they are hugs, kisses, always Hope they anwser soon..

Easy-a good friend coz they last longer & thru that friendship good sex can grow.
