How could we have "free will" when he already knows our choices before he creates us? And if he creates us, knowing those choices... then isn't he creating us for the sole purpose of making bad choices and then going to hell? It's not like we are going to learn anything, when he already knows that it is pointless... we're going to hell.

Hell is Gods punishment for unconfused, sin and for not trying to stop from sinning. Hell is Gods punishment for those that don't accept Him and what He did out of love to save us from damnation. In our society, if there were no punishment for wrongdoing, what would the world be like. People know that when they are caught breaking the law that they will be punished by the law too. Everybody knows it's wrong to steal. If a person steals a car and gets caught, they know they will have to pay a fine, return the car, and maybe go to jail. If there were no punishment for car stealing, why wouldn't everybody steal cars? If a person knew they wouldn't get in trouble for stealing a car, nobody would buy one when all you have to do is steal one and nothing will happen to you if you get caught. The same thing would go for murder. If you don't like somebody you could kill them and not get into trouble. Prison, fines, retribution, and sometimes even the death penalty are mans punishment for breaking the law. God has punishment for those things too. The punishment is hell. Look at it kind of like this: A teacher gives students a test. The ones that get geal good grades get an A. The ones that get real bad grades get an F. Did the teacher give the test just so he or she, could give some students an F ? Or, was the test given to see if the students had learned and understand what they had been taught? The teacher gave the test to see how the students were doing and to see if they were learning what they were supposed to. The test wasn't just to give out some Fs. God is like the teacher in the above. The A (all passing grades) will go to heaven. The F will go to hell. God put rules in place to keep people honest and help prevent them from doing the wrong things.

We have the free will to choose if we want to be loyal to God or not. God did not create Hell. Hell was created by us. The translation of the Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek word Hades, do not mean Hell, but instead GRAVE. The mention of a Lake of Fire in Revelation is symbolic of destruction. Satan, his Demons, and any Human not loyal to God will be destroyed by God to a non-existence status, forever.

We live our lives based on rules. Rules are of no use if they there are no consequences if you do not follow them. So follow the rules and you are rewarded don't follow the rules and you are punished. Religion and the Bible is the oldest Rule Book in existence and as our time on earth is short what better reward than to offer an afterlife in a perfect place such as Heaven and what better punishment than to be condemned to an afterlife of damnation in hell. My personal belief is it is better to live your life with a conscience than worrying about doing the right or wrong thing because of where you might end up when you die........

Hell is certainly experienced for too many humans on earth through man's inhumanity to man. God would not create Hell.

I wouldn't worry about hell so much really, just keep looking at Jesus. Read about how much he loves you. Hell is simply a place without the presence of God, for those who don't want it.

Hell is for Satan and his followers so if you don't want to end up there follow Jesus. Simple as that. God wants us to follow Him to heaven and not to hell but we have to choose Him over Satan.

For the demons who disobey and Satan. The lake of fire will have death thrown into it, as well as sin. It will be destroyed. Sin will be tossed into the lake, and you along with it unless you let God sever you from it. You have to accept the gift he offers you and He will cut the chain attatched to the weight that will drown you.
