"In the beginning was the bird."
Actually the translation of the prophecy he means is usually another bird.. and if this is Jesus it certainly sounds more like Blair...
"Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay is the man who gains riches by unjust means. When his life is half gone, they will desert him, and in the end he will prove to be a fool."
Jeremiah 17:10-12
and
"As one reaches into a nest, so my hand reached for the wealth of the nations; as men gather abandoned eggs, so I gathered all the countries; not one flapped a wing, or opened its mouth to chirp." - the history of a religion, Isiah 10:13

Explains a few things, doesn't it, JL? Do not be concerned by anyone here who speaks as if he or she knows what God is thinking--believe me, they do not. It's funny. That walking on water thing would have been right up Jesus' alley, eh? And laying eggs--easy. I've done it many times. I'm an actor.
