Why did he use a pen and parchment ?
It's like those science fiction movies where there's a small tribe of people that basically dress in rags and eke out a primitive existence on some god -forsaken planet which is located on the edge of some god -forsaken star system. Then one of them gets the urge for some great pizza , so they all jump into their interstellar star cruiser which is parked in the garage . leap across 5 light years of space in 5 minutes get their pizza and return it to their primitive existence while the pizza is still hot.
What wrong with that picture ?
Therein lies the incongruity. A high tech god uses a primitive low tech means to have his message delivered
What's wrong with that picture ?
A god that is capable of creating a universe should at the very least be capable of teaching 4 guys how to make and set type. so that his message would be more clearly understood
