I don't hate Christians, when they find that my religion is not their own they hate me.
BUT... The hypocrisy of it is really irritating. In the churches and within the whole idiology of the faith.

1. Hypocrisy
2. Blind faith
3. Use of force, trickery, bribery, threats, violence, etc to win people over
4. Complacency (all I have to do is love Jesus & everything'll be alright)
5. Proselytising at every opportunity
6. Speaking in the mall without a permit (okay, I hate the mall management & the cops more than Christians for that one. No public speaking means no public speaking.)
7. Misrepresentation of history (George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Paine were not christians. Well I'm not sure about GW, but he did say "The United States is in no sense founded upon the Christian doctrine)
8. Making stuff up (kangaroos more than likely floated to Australia on grass mats after they got off Noah's ark. And I just love that fossilised teddy bear--complete with fossilised plastic buttons--in one of the creationist museums)
9. Claiming to be pro-life and then praying for the death of pro-choice supporters.
10. Disregard for scientific proof
11. Preaching love and then supporting unjust wars
12. Missionary evangelism for profit & exploitative purposes
13. Misogyny
14. Gay bashing
15. Child abuse
16. The "ours is not to reason why" comeback to inquiring minds
17. The "because it says so in the Bible" answer given as proof that God exists.
18. The "because God wrote the bible" answer given as proof that the Bible is true.
19. Excessive circular logic
20. The fact that more people have been murdered, tortured, humiliated, robbed, displaced, imprisoned, hated, oppressed, and anything else bad that you can think of in the name of God than any other single reason.
BTW: I don't hate Christians. In fact I have quite a few Christian friends. I just hate dogmatism.
Edit: Oh, and remember: you asked a question, I gave you an honest answer. Whether you agree with me or not is a moot point. If you give me thumbs down then you have committed the sin of pride.

It runs deeper than that. I despise it, because from the non-religious perspective... in other words when you are outside the box looking in... you can just see SO many flaws. SO may proofs against it. We don't want the world run by people we see as deluded with nonsense. I don't think anyone that has converted from Christianity to atheism, having seen the atheist perspective, converts back. The only reason I could think that would happen is for the comfort that religion affords you, and the freedom from fear of death.
Edit: But it takes a certain kind of person to willfully walk into a religion. Being born into it... that's a different problem.

All Religion!
It goes against science and logically, it doesn't make sense.
It creates war and eliteism.
The planet has been here alot longer than Christians believe it has.
The church leaders have been corrupt and have their hands in politics and don't pay taxes like everybody else. They continue to get busted for child rape (future episode of Dateline NBC Predator).
They want to look down on me because I lack Him but I am the happier person than most with no enemies and a clean arrest record.
They talk about the afterlife and how I won't qualify. That Gandhi or Nelson Mandela or Adam Sandler won't qualify or have the same chance as O.J. Simpson or Charles Manson or George Bush (who says God talks to him).
It's a tool to control the masses and a crutch for the weak-minded.
A bunch of B.S.
Shed the dead weight and live freely.

Both of the above and..... I think that Christianity is just one way to separate people into those who are OK and those who aren't. Example: I went with a local church group to volunteer alongside the Christians on a mission for poor people in Mexico. Once it was discovered I was an Atheist, it was as though I had the plague. They started to have the conversation with me about how I was wrong, and that I needed to be saved. Meanwhile they didn't happen to notice that I was as good of a person as they were as I was doing the exact same thing as they were. Wait-now that I think about it- I was even better because I didn't need a god or a book to tell me to do what is right.
Also, the wars of the world are often fought in the name of religion.
Also, the hypocracy of do whatever you want, and then just ask for forgiveness and it all goes away-I mean come on!
Oh, and I hate that they hate gays. GAYS ARE PEOPLE TOO. THEY DESERVE THE SAME RESPECT AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS NONGAYS. MARRIAGE BETWEEN GAYS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR NONGAY MARRIAGE-AND IF IT DOES YOU NEED TO LOOK AT YOUR OWN PROBLEMS.
And, the lack of allowing condom education to minors/the poor in the world is a great way to spread AIDS. This abstinance ONLY education is bullshite. WRONG IN EVERY WAY AND ANOTHER GREAT HYPOCRACY. IF YOU WANT LESS ABORTIONS-HAVE LESS UNWANTED PREGNANCIES BY TEACHING BOTH ABSTINANCE AND CONDOM USE.
And, the save the nonbaby in eutero-yet once the baby is born, we can't have health insurance for the child-because they only care about the unborn and not the born.
I also hate that they scare the **** out of my kid with the world is going to end thing. (I have no choice but to allow my kid to go to church with his dad-state law)
I could go on and on, but you get the point. There are many reasons I dislike Christianity. I do not dislike people. I dislike the above mentioned activities. This help?

Neither.
Here is a list of reasons that I dislike Christianity:
1.Fundamentalist Christians
2.Creationist Christians who think the Flintstones is a documentary
3.The self righteousness that seems to flow like water out of many Christian mouths
4.The constant condescending attitude of many Christians toward non Christians
5.The belief that their views on morality is the only correct view and thus should be legislated as such
6.Christian interference in politics in general
7.The Christian attitudes on sexuality which have caused many Christians to embrace homophobia
8.The bigotry that stems from dogmatic beliefs about society
9.The constant need to preach to those who have heard the same message which has been told for hundreds, if not thousand, of years as if though nobody has not heard it all before
10.The Christian desire to claim they have been discriminated against in order to look like victims so that it will be more easy for them to victimize others
But, let me make it clear.I don't hate Christians.I just dislike what they believe and how they use their beliefs.Personally, I feel that everyone should be able to believe whatever they want. You want to believe in Santa Claus, then be my guest.Just don't tell me to believe in it.Don't legislate your beliefs in fairy's and leprechauns and other invisble folk.Treat others equally.Just because you believe something doesn't give you the right to tell someone else how they can live their life or who they can marry or what they can believe.Once Christians, and I mean all of them, can grasp that then I will feel so much better about them.

I don't think people hate christainity on its on. I'm not religious at all. I think most people that hate religion hate it generally not just one religion. i don't like religion full stop. yes there is alot of hypocrisy but not just in your churches, in ALL of them. What i hate the most is that no one can live and let live. People preach, I've had this argument before, i was saying how some people ram it down your throat and i just cannot stand that. Then you get the christians say 'but its your choice to follow god' but thats not true, because you get these idiots on the door step quoting bibles at you. There was a local christian group where i used to live standing in our local town, Shouting the rights and wrongs of peoples lives and what sinning is and how Jesus sinned blah blah, most people wanted to just stones at them. I respect people who believe in god, but i cannot stand it being thrown at me. i have christian friends who respect the fact i don't believe.. I've even have a 20 mins conversation with a Jehovah Witness on the phone and they are the worst!, However she respected my views as i respected hers. Religion starts wars, theres just no getting away from it. Every war i know of has some sort of religion involved because people cannot live with anyone elses opinions or beliefs, I steer clear of religion altogether, I won't discuss it with people in general and i will not let people tell me i can't live a normal live without following Jesus because to be honest, For all i know he may not have even been born.
I hope i haven't offended you with my comments, cos you asked. lol If you think you have more of a purpose in life to follow the faith of a man wirtten in a book that is entirely your choice and life. I however will carry on as normal and won't be pushed to donate money to any of the religions that claim to be so poor, Which is why you always see these nuns driving round in brand new cars!.
Also... Someone explain to me please, this earth was here at least 20 million years before man whent he dinosaurs were here, No one can argue there wasn't dinosaurs, As they are still being exhumed and being displayed... So how may i ask did god create the earth in 7 days then created man... there was a 20 mil yr gap so what was he doing with himself??? Took his time didn't he??? Maybe he had a rock and a board and was trying to design what a bloke looked like....!!! Well that takes some doing... or maybe Charles Darwin was right!!!! But you guys are not very open minded so i doubt it

I do not hate, I just know it is false.
I am fascinated by the work of the scholar John Allegro, he was in charge of translating part of the dead sea scrolls, which were supposed to confirm Christianity ,when instead a very different picture came out of the Jesus's story.
The first video explains. In one of these videos untitled "the bible unearthed" archaeologists debunk many stories of the bible. If you are interested the evidence against Christianity is overwhelming.

I find ridiculous the concept of a savior , the idea that we need to be saved from a hell of torture and fire. IT IS ABSURD! The idea that a God created a hell and if you do not accept that religion, or just do not believe in it ,you are doomed to eternal suffering.
How can anyone justify ETERNAL TORTURE FOR FINITE SINS? Just torture by itself is a contraddiction with an all loving and forgiving God, but what exactly justify THE ETERNAL PUNISHMENT? How is the torture MORAL?
Christianity just makes no sense at all.
