Why do a lot of men insist on doing comb overs? Are they aware that a comb over does not help? It only makes it look worse?

Vanity in socity contributes to this, yeah deep down they know its silly but its better then sporting the Dr Phil!

the men who do comb overs usually don't have alot of style so they think its ok to simply comb it over. They also think it looks ok and are in denial that they're losing their hair. All men starting to bald should go to hair specialists who have a 99.9% chance of curing baldness when dected early.

Unless you are a balding man you have no idea what it does to their self esteem. They know they are going bald but hate to admit it to themselves so they try to make up for the lack of hair by doing a combover. I always suggest that they just shave it really short (not bald)--usually looks better that way.

That practice used to be more common than it is today. I always thought it looked ridiculous and it made me notice the man's balding head even more. I think men should find other ways to hide their balding heads if it bothers them. Just don't use obvious looking toupees.

It is easy to understand why they have to do this.
Just see yourself with a big bald spot on the top of your head.

to cover it up with real hair!

Ya it does look really bad ..but i feel sorry for them..imagine if YOU went bald..you would probably panic and try to do anything you could to cover it up?...LOL thank god im a girl...
