It is EFFEXOR or venlafaxine which is licensed for anxiety and depression, comes in 37.5 mg, 75 mg strength, commonly given in dose of 75 to 225 mg depending on response. It is supposed to work on certain chemical (neurotransmitters) in brain and help relax.

effexor ..... I take it for depression and OCD. It should help with anxiety attacks as well.
