Er, Lucifer, that is. This is what I just read in response to a question about non-catholics calling Mormons non-Christians.

What say you?

OK here it goes.

We are all spirit children of our Heavenly Father. All spirits are and were created by our Heavenly Father.

Jesus Christ was/is one of these created spirits (There is more to this explaining how creation into a spirit does not mean He did not exist before this – thus being eternal – but I digress)

Jesus was like unto God in every respect. He created heaven and earth under the direction of God the Father. So Jesus is the God of the Old Testament – He is the Father because of the Creation. Jesus was then born of the Virgin Mary (conceived by the power of the Holy Ghost). So Jesus became the Son because of His birth (so both Father and Son are amongst His many titles)

Back to the Spirits created by our Heavenly Father –
All who have and will be born are these spirits that God created – angels. Among these spirits God created was Lucifer who envied God’s glory and wanted to force salvation on everyone in exchange for usurping God the Father.

Lucifer and his followers were kicked out of heaven and as a punishment – they are never to be born – Satan and his demons.

All of these spirits of God the Father are siblings. So Jesus and Satan are our spiritual brothers -- So we all have trillions of spiritual brothers and sisters (and some of them have and/or are rebelling against Our Father in Heaven and His Only Begotten in the flesh Jesus Christ.

So after a fashion Satan and Jesus are brothers but so are you and I siblings of these 2.

This is not to say they are 2 peas in a pod but brothers who are polar opposites.

This will likely cause more questions than it answers but I'm tired of reading the whole "they think Jesus and Satan are brothers" skreed

Yes it's true but all of God's children are siblings -- leaving out Lucifer only puts us into "denile."

(OK now the mocking of my religion can continue as usual -- not that the asker of this question mocked anything -- D)

Let me put the things in a different way

At first God (Jegovah) was governing the whole universe alone then he created a group of assistans called angels ( 100 crores the no is still a myth) then he select one among them to lead them to over the universe that is lucifer but very unfortunately lucifer is not a good spirit , god gave him every power except creating souls (either human form or angel) , lucifer started to act like god then god punished him and his goons ( they were 1/3 of the total no of angels 33 Crores) by sending them to the underworld thats the story of lucifer

But Jesus is part of god if you need a example Water is god and ice is holy spirit and water vapour is Jesus , they all are same but existing in different form

Hope it reaches you

Sorry for the crude examples

It could be in the Bible.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Read Hebrews 2:12. Consider "MORNING STAR", Sons of God, as is written in Job. I say they are not either. Jesus closed the book! Rev. ended the Book so you tell me how can Joseph Smith and Mohammed come up with "other Books" considering Gal 1:6-10 & rev 10:7 wut say you?
