Yes I am!!
But is has nothing to do with religion. Because I know religous people (my friends and family) who are and aren't also. Even though most have been taught about God and Jesus and whoever else, it still is a scary thing not knowing! Even if there is a *GOD*.
Im really afraid. Whats after? What if there is nothing? What if we come back and have to do it all over again! What if we come back as opposite sex? Or somebody in a 3rd world country with war and no food??
So scary!!!
Im thankful for what I have. and plan on living for as long as I can!! I HOPE!!

I find that honesty should always be expressed, and to me I am scared of death. I like to experience life, I love my family, there is so much that we have to enjoy that one life time is not enough. I feel cheated in my early thirties that I am projected only another fifty years of life.
As an Atheist, I do feel that this is it.. We die and there is as much to experience as there was before we were born. The thought does scare me. I will not be on my death bed saying, it is natural, I will be trying to survive. If I could live 1,000 years I would take it.
Sure there are times when I am down, and times when I am depressed but I still appreciate life. Death is something I think of often, and it is something I want to avoid.
Edit in response to your added content:
If there was a Heaven, and Jesus was the requirement to enter it, I would not be in Heaven. While I respect that you believe in God I do not. It would be nice is Heaven existed though.

Not afraid at all, but it isn't welcome.
Life is GREAT for a decent-looking single man in Metropolis who lives by the "Golden Rule" only.
I am not restricted by fear of an omnipotent presence or servitude and worship of an insecure, vengeful God with an itchy trigger finger.
I am not tethered by the idea of whether or not I make it to the Great Country Club in the Sky, or be forever banished to the Fiery Depths of Hell.
I have as much fun on this planet as possible because it's the first AND last stop on the ride of my life. No second chances and I can't take anything with me when I die.(I don't have millions to leave to my dog!)
I can die a happy man knowing that I lived as fully and richly as I could and experienced all that was interesting and joyful to me.
Just, not tomorrow.

No. Death is nothing to be afraid of. The universe is all energy including human beings and energy can not cease to exist only transform into something else therefore death is not an end but a transition to another state of being. I believe the consciousness continues after the physical body dies and I am actually looking forward to seeing what is out there some day. I had a dream not long ago and a woman said to me "It is not dying we fear but not being remembered when we die." Not sure how she meant it but I couldn't get it out of my head.

Are you afraid of death? No I am not afraid of dying..
Why? We are all going to die eventually why fear the inevidible... In the meantime there are far more important things to occupy my time.. I don;t really think about dying I am far too busy living.. In the last minutes of my life I want to be able to look back and think "What a ride." I won't be able to do that if I spend all my time scared about dying...
Do you think without Jesus Christ will you make it to heaven?
I don't believe heaven exists.. I believe when we die we die the end our brains die with our bodies and we cease to exist in any form..

Nope. I like what Mark Twain said: "I do not fear death; I was dead billions and billions of years before I was born, and I did not suffer the slightest inconvenience from it."
But there are some things I want to do before I die though.
I don't know if Jesus Christ ever lived, but I don't think there is a Heaven, and if there is, I don't think he's related to its entry.

No I am not afraid of death because all creatures which are alive will die.But when we will die no one knows it exactly
.Only Allah the only one God who knows it ecxactly because our deaths are decided by Allah. We could not run for it.Any where and any time at any condition we can die although we are in the very safe place such as covered in an iron box That is why we should make it ready at any time and at any place for receiving the calling for die by angel who conducted the Allah's instruction. We should do our best to comply to the life guide of Allah (Qur'an) if we want to be happy and save in this world and in the life after death..In Surah 62 Al Jumu'ah
'in the Qur'an verse 8 Allah spoke .Really the death which you are afraid of,will come to you and then you will be brought back to Allah who knows the unforseen(ghaib)and the
forseen and Allah will tell you what you have been done
during your life in this world..

To say "Death holds no fear" takes a lot of either courage or foolishness.
Like most creatures, man are also fearful of the unknown.
I'm not going to embrace death or actively search for it, but when its my time to go, I do not think i will put up a fight, if i had spent a rewarding life.
Matter of afterlife does not apply to us for heaven does not exist in my mind

One thing you need to understand… To you, any other bible is nothing and means nothing. To some one in another religion your bible means nothing!?
Im sure Jesus was Jewish anyway…
If you would like to do a quick test yourself do a biblical timeline… Jesus was born around 4 BC, the old testament compiled between 600 BC and 450 BC. There is absolutely no proof of the bible stories before then. Even if there was proof Adam and Eve were alive around the time 4260 BC… Hmm, the pyramids were built around 10 000 BC, so who were they and why were they building pyramids before the first man and woman existed? There is a huge gap between the two dates. We have also have proof that there were cavemen around 40 000 BC???
As for death I would consider death to be a new phase of our humble existence.
Scientifically energy cannot be created nor can it be destroyed. So you in essence are a consciousness and a body with senses. Once your body gives in you are the “energy” that remains.
Follow the link, im sure you'll find it interesting.
