It's not weird that you like an 18 year old, but if you were to try to take it any farther than a crush, it wouldn't be a smart move. Not only is it illegal and potentially dangerous, at 14 years old, you're not really emotionally mature enough to deal with dating an 18 year old.

Not weird, but definitely can land the guy in serious hot water! Most states require you to be 18 to be considered of legal age, but few are as low as 16. NO state allows for a girl who is 14 to be considered of legal age. It's perfectly normal to like someone older than you, even older than 18, but it's something you can't act on. You wouldn't want to get a guy that you like in serious trouble, would you??

No, it's not weird. Young girls often have crushes on older guys. But a crush is all it can be (there are laws regarding relationships between adults and minors). Once you turn 18, if you're still interested and he’s available, then you can pursue it. Until then you can only dream about him.

its not wierd many ppl are the same and the relationships do last sometimes but u just have to be patient in taking the relationship further in the sexual sense because the guy will end up bein the on in the wrong even if it was consensual, in a court of law it is statutory rape if u really like him tht much tell him and make it clear u dont want to get him trouble so ur goin to keep to keep it to the minimum.
