I stand all day and i thought that might be the problem. So i took it at home and sat down so I wouldnt get dizzy. it worked except the next day I was dizzy! does this happen to anyone else? can anyone tell me what is in it so i can make sure i dont take it in anyting else......ps i dont take alka seltzer anymore when i;m sick

it's a good thing you don't take alka seltzer anymore; maybe something in it doesn't agree with you (your body) and everyone is different. alka seltzer used to be used to coat and quiet a flopping stomach, but gingerale can do the same thing. If you were dizzy the next day then it's because alka seltzer is now in Plus form and whatever is in the Plus for colds (just like nyquil) surely will make you dizzy because when you use that product it's supposed to make you sleepy so you can rest or sleep to get rid of your cold, so that's why you're supposed to take it on a full stomach and before bedtime. Anyway, look at the carton where it has the warning to not drive (or use machinery) when taking that medication (or any medication really) because you will feel dizzy. If you take more than your body needs then you'll experience like a hangover the following day.
