I think they can work but eventually you will have to spend significant time together. Either extended visits or moving closer.

I really dont think long distance relationships work, its not even possible to really have a relationship in my mind if you cant physically be with the person. The way I see it is, I heard that almost 90% of communication is non-verbal, so, if that is true, then you really cant have a relationship if all you can do is talk or chat with a webcam er whatever. If I were you, i'd break it off and find someone I could touch.

A long distance relationship is easy to keep when both of you love and trust each other so much. Others can be successful, others don't but if he lost interest in you then he better let you know.

I was on a long distance relationship before, and it just never works if you are going to be away for more than a year.

Me and my bf have been together for 6 monthes and have been in a long distant relationship. It really depends on the ppl. For us it works. Some ppls dont and some do. It depends on how strong the love connection and the trust is.

i dont think long distance is a great idea...why would you want a relationship with someone who you can never see unless its like a special occassion!? i dont know how a relationship can develop if you're just talking on the phone or over the internet, def not my kinda thing, btw how old are you?
i would keep my options open and look into people around my area!

It'll never work, especially if you met exclusively online or something of that sort. It might work for a while either way, but chances are it won't last in the long run for obvious reasons. If it seems like he lost interest, well, he probably has. Good luck.

I'm still laughing too hard to answer this, but here goes.

You said, "I WANT ALL GUYS INPUT.?" Freud would have a ball with this (no pun intended).

Just a guess, you're not ready to stick it out and you want to move on. It is doubtful you were ready for this kind of relationship to begin with.
