So, TEK, what is your favorite quote of the Tao?

I had never heard about Taoism being compared to witchcraft before. Kinda funny.

Like many other beliefs and philosophies, there's a lot to be learned from it. I've always enjoyed studying beliefs outside of my own. I'll admit that I'm far less conversant about Taoism than about a number of other beliefs I've examined, though. As a Christian, I've seen little in it that I would find offensive. How can I argue with concepts like moderation, compassion and humility?

if it's a true, loving christian, i'm sure there are things they can find in taoism that resonate with them.

if they are a hateful, exclusive christian who thinks everyone else is wrong, they probably hate them.

by the way, there is NOTHING in daniel about the christian devil. nothing anywhere in the old testament.

and TEK gives us an example of a lame, useless response to someone who doesn't believe in religion and spirituality. hope you're having fun in this section.

It is similar to witchcraft. The balancing of opposing forces is exactly what is taught in witchcraft and also in the Star Wars movies. That "Force" is mentioned in the book of Daniel, referring to Satan. That's the short answer. You didn't ask for an expose on your philosophy.
