Having been anorexic myself, I found the most difficult thing was actually wanting to eat.
So I would suggest that whatever takes your fancy, eat it. I don't mean eat loads of chips and drink coke etc. Have a look around at what is in the shops... see what you fancy and start with that. Just eating food is a great start.
I would not try and stuff yourself with food just to put on weight. If you eat sensibly, lots of fruit and veggies, a little protein to start with as it takes a lot of energy to digest, it will be easier to then add more food as your appetite increases.

The aim of treatment is to:
reduce risk of harm (and death) which can be caused by anorexia.
to encourage weight gain and healthy eating.
to reduce other related symptoms and problems.
to facilitate recovery to mental and physical well-being.
Most people who see their GP with anorexia will be referred to a specialist mental health team. Members of the team may include psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, dieticians and other professionals. The sort of treatments that may be offered include the following.
Psychological ('talking') treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy. Talking treatments help to look at the reasons why a person developed anorexia, aims to change any false beliefs that they may have about their weight and body, and how to identify and deal with emotional issues. Talking treatments take time and usually require regular sessions over several months.
Antidepressant medication may be advised in addition to talking treatments in some situations.
Treatment of any physical or teeth problems that may occur. This may include taking potassium supplements, dental care, and hopefully not using laxatives.
Self help measures may be appropriate for some people. There are a number of self help books and manuals available. These provide strategies on how to cope with and overcome anorexia. (The Eating Disorders Association listed at the end may be able to suggest current titles.) They are not suitable for everyone, particularly if the anorexia is severe.
Is hospital admission needed?
Most people with anorexia are treated as an outpatient. Regular weighing is included during outpatient visits to monitor progress. Hospital admission is needed by some people who become very underweight

I'll agree with stuff buster on this one. Eat whatever you enjoy eating. If you go for food which will put on weight you may quickly tire of eating and go back to the way you were before. Try as many types of food as you can at the moment and decide your favourites. Once you enjoy eating then think about what your body really needs.

you can get away with eating anything!! Eat some pastas and bread, they will increase your weight.
You are young, its hard enough being that age without having an eating discorder.
Just be confident in who you are. I know thats easier said then done, but seriously, do what makes you happy, and i know your concious of yourself as everyone is at some stage. But confidence is they key.

See your doctor and get prescribed a supplement for weight gain.
He may want you to receive regular concealing through the dietitian and mental health nurse at your doctors surgery or refereed to your local hospital, it will be something you need as well as eating a proper diet.

You need to eat foods that are high in protein, and good carbs.
Also, avacados are great for weight gain. They are loaded with GOOD fats that help your heart.
I'd load on avacados if I were you, there delicious!
But make sure your diet is healthy, and your getting enough calories to gain weight.

My mom sent me to a nutritionist to plan my meals based on my foods of choice within reason. Just an idea. Don't just pig out on junk b/c that will make you fat. Also eat protein for muscle.
